Lots of stuff from shutterstock, some of mine.

He just copied all my keywords, and I use my name in my keywords.  Easy to find him that way.

OMG almost 50000 files, we should investigate CB collection for other thieves. They don't review images, once approved as contributor everybody can upload anything.

When I attempt to login on that site my browser is telling me it isn't safe! I probably should listen to my browser!

Microstock is basically the wild wild west now. Anybody can upload anything, even if they arent the copyright holder. What do the agencies care? It just increases their chance for a sale, and they are ONLY interested in money. Just one more industry ruined by greed.

There is the trend, of course, that ports only seem to be taken down we someone makes a stink of it.  However, there are so many images and it is probably expensive to put in staff just to verify port ownership...on a completely on-going basis.  I can see both sides of this debate. I'm not a techie, however, so perhaps there's another automated way.

Have yours been taken down yet? The ones I found are all still there - and Sandra Cunningham said she was contacting them, so they're certainly taking their time.  As if they just didn't care...

wow ... that portfolio has images from all the big stock agencies :|
They don't seem to be in a rush to remove the port :p

They only take down the exact images I reported. The thief is still actively selling other images. There is no such thing to kick the thief out. The site owner is happy to take share from the stolen images.  >:(

CB doesn't want to take them down because they will lose money. It all make me want to cry and punch a door at the same time ...

After finding several of my images I contacted them but also noticed on their web site they list the name and address for their Lawyer (on the page marked Legal - https://www.colourbox.com/imprint )

Her name is:
Christina Wiesner
Partner, lawyer
Aumento Advokatfirma
Ny stergade 3
1101 Kbenhavn K
Denmark

Mob.: +45 20 20 63 25
Tel.: +45 70 25 57 70
Fax: +45 70 25 57 71
www.aumento.dk
k

I figure bombarding her with emails regarding Colorboxes reluctance to remove images is fair game - it is after all a legal matter.

Here is the reply for my situation after I contacted them on some of my images being stolen-

"Thank you for your mail and informations.

The images will be removed from our site, until this matter is solved.

Have a nice day.

Med venlig hilsen / Best regards"

So far, so good but the account of the other thief is still active:

https://www.colourbox.com/supplier/rahman-kader-232062?page=1

CB deleted more than 15000 images but why they didn't close the account!?
