The site fotooboi(dot)extra(dot)ua/.... has images, including at least one of mine, displayed online at 1300px X 870px.   (found it through images.google.com)

This wallpaper site claims to sell images on paper, film, canvas, and they appear to be easily downloadable at 1300x870 for free, though I'm not going to try.

For a Long time, I have NOT had the displayed version of the image available for sale ANYWHERE,
so there's no way they could be planning to pay me if they sell my image. (Briefly, an improved RF version is on sale on macro, so I am particularly concerned about this.)

How does one get this site to stop displaying image, especially at 1300px x 870px (and apparently offering it for sale - though the info on their site about what's for 'sale' isn't clear to me)?

Why on earth would you type it that way? this isn't youtube you know. Btw the czech don't write in cyril letters, russians and ukranians do. (.ua  - ukranian domain) I know its off the main point, but it just freaks me out how utterly uneducated some ppl are.

On topic: bothering with these is a waste of time, and it should be the duty of the stocksites, they can dedicate ppl to this. Lets face it, if you put your pictures to be sold for a few bucks, even the most poorly 3rdworld hackers operating out of  a stick hut can dowload and further abuse them, so this will never end.

so what typos have to do with not even knowing who actually live in country? btw, do you think DMCA works in ukraine? You just gotta love all these super-smart ppl : )) 

However it should be typed, it would be good if you didn't contribute to the thieves' search engine ranking by typing it exact. In other words, change it to fotoobol(dot)extra(dot).ua/ and then explain to replace the word dot with a period. That way, they don't get free "publicity". Just a suggestion.

I wondered if that's why you included parentheses. That works too. The post by ithn threw me off a little.

I just would like to remember that Pirate Bay, Naspter, Torrent, etc were not created by 3rd worlders.

Last week: After an exchange of emails with SS support, I checked whois for the domain server for 'photooboi extra ua', and then hit a brick wall getting email addresses for those dservers, since they're Ukraine-based. (So DMCA not the way to go.) Then I sent the whois results to SS and asked if there was anything else I realistically could do about my 1300 x 870px image photooboi- was displaying.

Today: Shutterstock's counsel called, listened, explained his take on the situation, and gave me the wallpaper site's Contact email, which I missed when I searched the site. So, now I'm off to write them a letter about taking the 1300 X 870px photo down. And, if they posted such a large size due to ignorance, rather than malice, it might help.

BTW, in case that brief account doesn't make it clear - I feel Shutterstock's response to my concerns over image misuse by the wallpaper site was solid - responding to emails overnight or sooner on week days, and then attorney calling me. (Plus, though irrelevant to the image misuse problem, I'm a minor contributor, and the misuse problem was about an image that used to be on SS and another site or so.)
