Topic: Is IV freezing?

I have not had any pictures sold there yet, and most of the ones which are approved and doing well on other stock sites are not approved on IV along with this robotic ansswer - "This image does not look stock-like according to our style".  I still continue to upload, hoping that one of the 23 lucky pictures which have been approved will sell one day soon...

Up till now (I joined last March), the approval process was always the next day the latest.  But my last batch date is Sept.8, and it is still in the pending mode.  Very unusual.

Do you think that this site is having trouble?

I've taken my photos off the site.  No sales after many months (but my number accepted was low so I didn't have a high number to begin with) and a few I had offered as exclusive.   I look forward to hearing others' experiences.

I have about 50 photos there, no sale.  I upload one or two from time to time to show them I'm alive.

Adelaide

I tried them for over a year, no sales. I gave up and deleted everything.

Thanks for your feedback.  My pictures are still in the pending mode after 2 weeks, very unusual, because it used to be so quick... Now after uploading there is a link which says:

"Hint: to maximize your sales, use our banners or your personal gallery link on your website."

Would it be a one-person business which only takes the pictures without doing anything else ?
Your comments helped me make a decision... I am going to erase my portfolio this week-end.  Time to move on.

ditto.. I removed all of mine as well

once the shots I had there ended up being my best sellers elsewhere, I figured it was time to move on

Yeah. strange site. I had heard they were tough, so I looked at all my images which had been accepted by all 10 of the sites I use. Out of those, I picked the 10 that had sold the most. Sent those in. 0 for 10. I almost went away, but uploaded one more that I had just shot. Accepted. The next 6, I uploaded arbitrarily based on nothing much. All 6 accepted. Since then, uploaded dozens, nothing accepted. No sales.

They will be cut soon. My biggest goal for next year is to quit wasting time.
