Title: What's the lowest commission you've ever seen?
Post by: PowerDroid on February 26, 2010, 10:00
I just saw a $.15 commission in Dreamstime.  Previously I thought the $.18 commissions I see once in a while in iStock were the lowest out there, but this one took the prize.  The Dreamstime $.15 was listed as "1 Credit (old)."  (I've actually been happy with my Dreamstime sales lately... I have a lot of "green" and "blue" level images now that land some pretty nice commissions... making this $.15 figure all the more shocking when I saw it.)

So is $.15 the lowest commission currently out there?  Anyone seen worse?

6$ for a extended licence at Fotolia. Too bad I can't remember for the larger size. I think it was something like 1.60$ for XXL or something for the normal licence

I score $0.028 on pixmac and more below the $0.08 but they have changed it now so the lowest is about $0.05 (But I stopped uploading when I saw the $0.028 and waiting for my 12 months to be up to remove account)

Eventually, there will be no monetary commission. Instead we'll receive Fotolia Credits, which have no cash value, but can be accumulated to get cool prizes like maybe a Fotolia tote bag or a Fotolia coffee mug.

:) Also posters of the best selling stock images like gold fish jumping and random people smiling. And at 1 million credit, some of the top like Yuri will get the Fotolia island. Here is the previews

25c for a vector or for a XL image.  I don't mind the 19c for a XS that much (although it is still very low).

Perhaps instead of credits they will be called Chad.............."Chad are more commonly seen in mundane, everyday settings. When a hole punch of the functional or decorative type is used, it removes a small amount of paper - a chad. Chad are also common in stores, where holes are punched so that merchandise can be hung on pegs or clips. Chad are also the small strips, pieces of paper or shred waste that remain of the documents fed through a paper shredder.[3] Chad can also be the result of punching holes in any sort of thin material, such as cloth, plastic, or even sheet metal."

wow.

0.03$ for a photo, it's almost as low as a click on an Adsense banner...

it this becomes the norm soon it will be more profitable to run web sites with images and banners all around.
