Thanks Sue, I did look at the forums but didn't go far enough back as mine have been fine until today so I thought it was a new problem.

Is anybody else finding it incredibly sad to see Bruce's site ending up like this?

I feel angry, insulted, powerless and bewildered. I don't feel sad about it. Should I?

Well, at one point I thought that Bruce might not approve, but thinking back, he SOLD OUT for millions of dollars! The money meant more to him than the community! And don't get me wrong, I am not blaming him for anything...I sure might have done exactly the same thing. But it's difficult for me to now think of Bruce as anything but just another Getty. He may have started out thinking it was great having everyone on his team, OR he read the book that others are talking about in this thread and had that as a goal from the start. In which case, he did a magnificent job.

I remember a day when istock was innovative, setting the bar high for others to strive for. Now the contributors are so beat down that they cower when asking for basic services like knowing how many files they've sold in a day.

"No big deal. Just curious."

Really???? It seems like a pretty big deal to me.

if istock is not doing an honest business, isn't it breaking law? can we sue them?  ::)

You'd have to prove beyond doubt it was deliberate and not 'genuine error'. (IF)
