My experience on 123RF is four to six weeks for inspection.  I just upload, submit, and move on.

Normally get reviewed for me between 1 - 2 weeks. Interesting the different experiences...?  ??? They however seem to have got slower the past month or so. Maybe being swamped after the recent attention here and the short lived promotion to top tier.

Editorial images less than a day. Regular images 3 to 7 days usually.

Thanks guys, now I know that I will just keep uploading and just leave them to get on with it...not a problem..

Maybe the holiday weekend has slowed things down. I seem to recall having my files reviewed and online within 3-5 days, but right now I have some pending since the 19th.

13 days and still waiting here  ::)

One is a christmas image so hope they review before the christmas rush is over. I've noticed sometimes reviews do take quite a bit longer than other times.

Can't really complain, I've just had my BME at 123rf - in fact I've more than doubled my previous BME - yay  ;D

If that is the case, you must really have a small portfolio on 123RF to get such an increase (statistical artifact). The point has been mentioned in another thread by Rinder. Don't mention portoflio's under 1-2K. I get tantrums reading people on the DT forum yelling BME when they had 50 sales. Only the real big guns here can tell what's happening.

I love the way you talk but just for the record I have tracked your sales at DT and you havent had 50 sales in a month, so why all the BS talk?

Sorry but, although there is merit in your statement which reflect general sales at specific sites, I can not agree with your conclusion. You are now telling 70% of the members here that they must basically just shut up about their sales, because they are not "the big guns" who "really" can talk about sales.

When one read a person's post about doubling their income the logical person always have the facts about their port influence in the back of your head and realizes that the person is only sharing his/her experience.

If this is such a big problem and to assist newcomers who does not know who the "big guns" are and in establishing the weight of a person's statements, it might be advised that all state their sales volume and port size then when making any statement about your income at a site.

How does that sound?  ;)

PS Hope I had the right to post here, as my sales are much lower than the "you may speak" amount......  ;D

Just for the record, I do vectors. It's not as quick as building up a port with photos. With vectors it's a case of one design at a time, and one design can take a couple of days to get just right.

Photo ports seem to grow much more quickly as you can do a number of shoots (or so I've read) and submit them all together.

I was just reporting on my own experience with a vector image portfolio. I may not be one of the 'big guns' but I've never said I was, and I've been building my port consistently for a while now.

Maybe there should be a junior and senior forum, so that us small fray are allowed to share our experiences with each other (it might in any event differ largely from that of the grown-ups whom we clearly irritates with our meager existence)?  ;)

Good idea CD123 - we wouldn't get slapped down for reporting our experiences if we had our own "junior forum", and we'd probably have more fun too  ;)

By the way, I've just worked out how long it would probably take me to build my port up to 1k - 6 years!!!! Oh well, just another few years to go before I'd be in a position to join the "senior forum"  :)

Give the guy a break. 13 days waiting for a review, but he can't really complain cos he's just has a great month. I can't see what is wrong with saying that. The comment wasn't a "sales are growing at 123rf, look at my stats" type of comment. The guy is just being positive, do u remember the days when u were optimistic before microstock brought you down?  ;D

Pending for 2 weeks now, I did write to support a while ago, but got no reply.

Hire some new reviewers if you're experiencing such an increase in ULS. Don't be so cheap, you're obviously doing well if you get so much fresh content and the poll supports that as well.

With falling sales and not being able to get my content online, I'm starting to loose interest in this site. I won't stop uploading, but I'll upload when I have the time (like I do with all the sites that loose 1st priority with me)

Nice to know I'm not the only one. Submissions still waiting since 24/11/11. More than 70 in the quee. If this is standard with stills what's the timeline for videos? I'm just over the 150 mark so it's not a big deal but for those of you who are sitting under that 150 magic number it must be frustrating. Anywhere else I'm looking at a 3-4 day max timeline.  >:(

25 files since 28/11.

But then I look for PM and Veer and feel a little better  ;D ( moreover when i decide to change categories on some PM files and they return to queue.. :S )

Probably this delay is about people trying hit 150 files online...

It was nothing personal, just the observation that "BME" is statistical noise by the small sample.

Guess you will have to get used to "statistical noise", as every one (including the small fry like me) like to participate in the discussions and no one is complaining about statements about no sales (where ports is just as important). So if someone is a bit excited about their BME, it is just good balance between the positive and negative feedback to allow those as well. As stated, I think every one has port sizes in the back of their minds when reading ALL posts, as we have to do even when the grownups comment on your sales, because they also do not state the sizes of their ports.

Suggestion is still, if anyone wants to make a general statement of the success or failure of a site, state your port makeup and size when you are talking about your experience.

Going back to the original topic... My photos have been pending since 11/24. And it's only 4 photos... I would like to have an official update from a representative of 123rf as it seems like the last post from them was just stating a fact, but not really setting any expectations. Is this going to be the new standard in processing times?

123 is working with a ranking system.
The more you sell, the quicker your images will be reviewed.

Mine were reviewed (going back to Nov 23rd I think). So, if this speed continues, and you want get to 150 images accepted here, you better have submitted some already.

edit - as long as you got into the queue a week or more ago you should be ok though - if this rate continues.

However - they were actually reviewed, not blanket rejected, so that is nice. (not that I agree with all the rejections, but at least I can see where they are coming from and they aren't all for the same thing.)

I have 92 accepted vectors and 62 pending. I haven't had a lot of rejected files at 123 (only 2 I think) but I need to get some more uploaded in the next day or two just in case.

I have 10 waiting since Nov 20.  But my main reason for asking: these were my initial 10.  Did I do anything wrong?  It just says "10 pending" under the normal upload place, but did I need to upload them somewhere else?  Also, should I expect to wait longer for my initial batch?

Have you uploaded an image of your ID yet?  If I recall correctly, 123RF needs that before the process your images.

You need to process the files to complete the upload. (go to the history page - near the top it says : "FTP Upload: If you have uploaded photos via FTP, click here to process uploaded files."
do so.

Did you process them?  I'm guessing you didn't know about that.  After you've uploaded via FTP, go to the Upload link (http://submit.123rf.com/upload_step1.php) at the bottom of the web page.  Follow the steps and your images will be transferred from the FTP server.  Then you assign releases if applicable.

I have images waiting since the 11th but I think they had a big backlog.  A lot of people are trying to get 150 images in their portfolio since the new commission levels were mentioned here and submissions have been high.  I have more than 150 in my portfolio already so I was wondering if they were giving review priority to those that were close to the 150 image hurdle trying to get them over.

They must be giving preference to people who need to reach the 150 image and 10 image sales goals.

While I was a member I had not uploaded any images yet, last week I uploaded my port and they were reviewed in a few short days with 10 sales in short order.  It looks to me like they are trying to give everyone more than a fair chance to hit the new requirements.

Alex, I have 33 images, earliest have been pending since 12/13! I had no idea about the comission structure change as I haven't received the email. Had I known, I would have uploaded more to meet the 150 limit!
