Many thanks Warren and Tim. I got an email the day before saying I'd been chosen and it went live on my Birthday -quite a present I thought! There's also an interview which they are publishing on the site next week. I got to choose the images that go with that. It's certainly exciting getting all that exposure. Kind regards, David.

David can I ask - did you do anything to put yourself out there for being the feature photog? Or did they just pick you? Would love to know how some of these 'inner workings' work!

I wonder if featuring artists around their birthday is a 'thing'. After nearly 7 years on Dreamstime I was featured last November, like you, right after my birthday.

No Tim, I just got picked. I did have an "editors choice" from my most recent uploads which might have drawn attention, maybe. I'm guessing that they like the depth that all my old B/W stuff brings to what is a relatively new agency. I have this notion that they think of me as the "dead politicians guy" since so many of my captions end with "he/she died in xxxx"! Regards, David.

Thanks Leaf! More likely just co-incidence I would have thought. We'd have to ask all the previous ones I suppose. Can't remember the sign up process -do we give a date of birth in that? I think I must have uploaded my driving license as ID so it was on that. Whatever, very welcome anyway! Regards, David.
