"The results from the third party  sales for fourth quarter are now in.
Your images made a total of 22,23.
This amount has been credited your account at YAY as one sale on a random image today."

Weird, do they actually know which photos are sold???

Does anyone knows where are these sales happening, for what price and what % are we actually getting? Sounds like everyone is happy with getting couple of Euros and that's enough to shut their mouth.

Received 52 euros, they paid faster than I can log in to paypal.  I get 50% of the money yaymicro receive from the 3rd party.  They did let me know who they are by email but asked me not to publicize it, there are obvious reasons why, other sites might go after them and as some of them pay us lower commissions, I would rather use yay.

^^ Great. Good to hear they are doing it rather transparently...

wow, this is so cool! I just got payment too. I just entered my paypal address and clicked complete, and it was transfered to my paypal account the same moment. But they transfered me 48,74 Dollars instead of 48,74 Euros. This must be some mistake.
Gotta contact support....

I'll drop them an e-mail...

Again just minutes until I received an answer. They are aware of the problem and will manually transfer the missing amounts.
Great service, Thanks! :)

If you didn't see the email, third party sales are reported again.

I also don't know how long this link has been up but they have an info page about third party sales on their site.

Another question: do they let you know if you've been accepted in their third party sales program? I applied long ago but never received neither a positive or negative answer

^^^Are you sure you have been selected for the 3rd party sales?  I get a payout there every 3 months and I am sure you should be getting sales.

It seems like one third-parties for which we selected 100 photos some time ago is Polylooks. I've found my images marked yaymedia/{myname}.  So now I have to be careful not to duplicate them when sending to Zoonar :-)

Anyone had any news on the 3rd quarter, Third Party Sales yet? The last payout was September 1, so it's now well over three months since then. Maybe they're saving them up as a Christmas present for us ;D Regards, David.

Last year they were reported around the middle of November.  I'm trying to be patient :S

+1

I'm waiting to hear also. I sent them a few emails over the past couple of months, first to ask how to enter for 3rd party sales, then to say I have entered 100 images into a lightbox, then to ask if it has been accepted or not. Complete silence on all emails.

Sadly, the Third Party Santa didn't visit me this Christmas. Perhaps he'll make it for New Year ;D Regards, David.

This is what I would like to know... how often are our new images sent over to the third part affiliate, and also how many times per year are we receiving payments from this program?  Looking at my records from my past few years with YayMicro, it's looking like it is quarterly; but 4th quarter sales for 2010 look like they are a little bit late.  We've only gotten 3 payments in 2010.

It would also be nice to have some statistics to see what exactly has sold, and for how much.  How much are we exactly earning for being a part of this?  25%?  15%?  2%?  It would be nice to at least have a ballpark figure.  How many middlemen are we talking, here?  It seems like everyone has their hand out, and the artist gets the crumbs.

We are paid 'quarterly' for the third party sales.
It's the third quarter sales we are still waiting for though (and the fourth quarter as well but that usually comes at the end of Feb).  So it is the third quarter payment that is quite late.

Have you included any more photographers in the program? How can you tell if you have been included?

We're adding new photographers whenever we make new collections. All photographers who are included will receive an email with more information. If you have applied to the program and haven't received an answer, please send us an email at [email protected] [nofollow] and ask us to check that status.
