Question for those with 2 or more years experience, what are normaly your 3 top selling and 3 worst selling months?

Just wondered, as the first half of this month was quite slow for me.

6 years experience.  Two worst months are July and December.  After that, probably June.

Normally March is my 1st or 2nd best month of the year.  This year is not stacking up to be a very good one though, so all bets are off.

Reading JoAnne's post, I realize I forgot to Add that October and November are usually the other two best months, along with March.

6+ years, independent until August 2008.

November is always #1 for me, typically October 2 and March or December 3rd

January, & August are typically slower.

Bear in mind that if you have things with a strong seasonal pull in your portfolio (tons of Christmas images for example) that may skew your results.

March has almost always been great, but so far this month not so much (but I'm exclusive at IS and their search is royally effed up at the moment).

To be honest the ways things are shaping up at the moment in microstock I can foresee my top 3 worst months of the past beating my top 3 best months of the future.

Been at it for five years, and the trends remain the same year after year.  After New Years, sales start to pick up until they peak sometime between March - May.  June - August sees summer vacations and more time off.  Sales start picking up again in September and peak shortly before Thanksgiving in November.  When the holidays kick, we see huge drops.

To be honest the ways things are shaping up at the moment in microstock I can foresee my top 3 worst months of the past beating my top 3 best months of the future.

Me, too.     :'(

My best three months were always October, November and December, but that peak didn't happen last year.
Jan this year was a lot worse than last year. Feb crept over by dint of two ELs, and this month is dire, dire, dire.
So the old pattern that held for me from Sept 2007 [1] - Sept 2010 is broken.
[1] too few files before then, plus I became exclusive in early August which boosted Sept onwards that year.

Thank you for every one's feedback - give me some idea what to expect.

One advantage of being new is that you can not feel depressed about sales being worse than last year.
