DP, is like a breath of fresh air, really!  they are selling very, very well indeed. Wishing them all luck during the next year. Anybody else with same experience?

Yes for me it's good also, get a payout each month, about the same or a bit less than Fotolia for my part. Canstock is the best surprise for me this year getting twice as much as fotolia and DP.

A lot better than CS and BS, which are pathetic BTW, but not even close to 123RF, not to mention DT and IS and especially SS. Yes, it earns more than FT, which never really worked for me, at least not nearly as good as for some (those that rank it #2 or even #1 - there's not much of the latter, if any, at the time)

BTW, what's really nice is that the last 6 DLs were by credit, a nice break from subs

DP does seem to be coming on strong. They have some very tempting offers for buyers going on now.
-20% off on selected Christmas images
-what look like the lowest-priced subscription plans in the industry
-FREE 7 day subscriptions, with up to 5 dls per day allowed

I know that a lot of people here distrust DP, and I understand that. And DP pays very low royalties, but at least DP also charges very low prices, unlike some sites (or one site) which lower commissions while raising prices.

I've noticed a slight increase in activity lately on DP, but nothing to write home about.  RF123 remains dismal for me.  I've stopped uploading completely to BS, CC, Zoonar, Panther Media, and Pixmac.  I've only had one sale on Alamy, but I remain hopeful.  I've even had some sales lately on MostPhotos, can believe it?  And I don't even talk about IS, much less upload anything to 'em.  SS is still king, but I think the site to watch is AllYouCanStock.com.  Of course, your mileage may vary.   :P

I can't get too excited about DP.  They never addressed the concerns mentioned in other threads to my satisfaction.  They seem too similar to Fotolia and I will reserve judgment until it's clear that they aren't going to play the old trick of establishing themselves and then cutting commissions.  If they keep their commission rates as they are now in a few years time, they might get my respect.

I joined in the last week of December. Have about 300+ illustrations up there now. Already 2 subscription sales. Not much, but if the pace continues as I submit more, I think it could be very good.  8)

I have uploaded a port of around 400 illustrations files on DP. I started on end of november 2011.
I already sold more than 60 images, which means an average of at least more than 1 image per day sold (all subscriptions, only 3 or 4 images credits sold)
They don't pay much but that's very encouraging for a beginning.

Sales seem to be growing steadily for me but I am really p****d off that they are still deducting tax from my US sales and the lack of response to my repeated emails to support.

Well not for me unfortunately, they earned me exactly 2% in Dec (out of 8 agencies)

...the lack of response to my repeated emails to support.

That is really all I need to know, to decide whether to start submitting to an agency.  I'm crossing this one off my list.

I'm thinking of giving DP a go but do you really have to zip each individual vector/jpg together?

I think so, but for me it is not an issue because the submission format is the same as Canstock and Cutcaster, where I submit. I just zip the same files which I submit unzipped to 123RF and they are ready for CanStockPhoto, CC, and DP. And the submission process at DP is pretty fast and easy.

I just upload the EPS as it is, via FTP, to Canstock. Can I do the same for DP?

I'm very curious as to what qualifies a site in the majority opinion as showing potential in a real and tangible Dollar amount.

$100 a month?  $500?  $1,000?

$5?

I would be SHOCKED if anyone was making real money at Deposit Photos.

I am sure there are many doing some "nice" money, if I do 30$ I am sure plenty are doing 10x that

Thank you for sharing that.  To be totally honest, that's more money than I would have expected from them for most everyone.
