Anyone else seeing issues with review times. Used to take a few days to a week.....now I'm seeing a month still sitting QC.

Thanks

That's pretty easy - they are going to reject them. Don't upload any others as those will be rejected as well. I uploaded last night and they were approved this morning, which is what normally happens when you have built up a reasonable reputation for not having files rejected

I have had about 75 approved with no problems. Now I have 10 sitting in QC. Will they tell you what ones have been rejected? Why would the next batch be rejected also?

Yes, I've had this before. If you have uploaded a batch that is going to be rejected, they wait 3 weeks or so and then send the reject notice. The reject notice will tell you which image caused the whole lot to be rejected. When they reject one batch, they reject all others in the queue at the same time - which is why you should not send any more images in while this process is going on

I want to ask you what is review time lately? I'm waiting a week now which is not normal here. Review time usually takes 2 - 4 days.
Friends tell me they're waiting too, and some people have rejected images. Have you guys felt changes on Alamy with that?

I know that long processing time has nothing to do with rejections recently - I had 1 batch rejected (long time ago), where review time was 2 days.

I haven't uploaded anything very recently (last couple of weeks), but before that they were taking 6-7 days for a while, though I had had 1-2 days before that.

On Alamy it is your responsibility to ensure you meet their standards they check a sample if one is rejected they reject everything. If I have a batch rejected I check it very carefully before resubmitting any pics.

My batches this month have been approved in 1-6 days.

I've had a rejection before - was surprised/baffled
but when I checked, one of my images had dust spot at 100%,  I forgot to edit out
so they are usually right when it comes to rejection, otherwise it is a easy reivew to pass

Just reviewed. Uploaded 12-th and accepted 19-th.
One problem here - not complete IPTC in file (manage images, new version) :(

Grrrr...

Approval took around 24-48 hours for my most recent submissions.

Thanks for info.
And what about problems with IPTC in "manage images" section in Alamy, is it only me or someone else here? When I look at properties in file everything is as it should be, every info added. I upload images few years and never happend like that.

Hope so.  That link is about the forum moderators but maybe it indicates the whole company took holiday.  My last two batches got approved in less than 24 hours so maybe I am spoiled.

Odd I've not seen anyone on their forum complaining.

"We're taking some time out to recharge our batteries over the holidays, so QC will take longer than usual between 21st December and 9th January.
Turnaround time will be back to normal by Monday 13th January."
