Since it has come up, just wondering? What else is out there, and what do you think is the best for Income? See the next poll for part two, please.

I voted, but maybe I shouldn't, because I am not in all those sites.

I have invested some time in Zazzle and today, even after months without creating anything, I'm selling more there than in any of the micros. It takes me some time to create a new product, but then for the new ones with a different image the process gets much easier, as I can just replace the image, change texts (if any) accordingly and then title/description/keywords, using copy&paste.

Besides Zazzle, I have a few images in FAA and Imagekind, never sold anything.

In the latter I only use landscapes, nature and architectural images; in Zazzle I use also some of what I have in microstock (especially for business cards), including illustrations.

do you feel you are getting paid for the time invested creating products or is it more of a 'just for fun' hobby project?

For me, it's more of a "just for fun" hobby thing, but it is starting to pay off. It is a lot of work in the beginning, but like Maria said, you learn shortcuts as you go.

I am sure there is a lot of money on zazzle, I havent worked that hard and got close to 300$ in 2011, not far from that in 2012 actually.. I have made some calculations and I was getting paid around 12$ per hour, doesnt mean I will have 12$ for every hour but I am sure they will sell, a % of it of course

Microstock was a "just for fun" hobby thing, and I feel much better getting paid 30c for a card with an image I created than 30s for a subs buyer who may use it repeatedly in thousands of ways.

I recently had a payout from Imagekind on sales of just 2 images, 1 landscape and 1 motocross image.  -- $80.
It seems that Imagekind and Cafe Express are linked in some way?

I've had an account there (Imagekind) for several years but the 2 sales were both in November (or October?)

Haven't checked lately ... maybe I should?   :-\

Good point. This survey is enjoyable reading also.

I'm only on FAA and Zazzle. I don't really consider selling prints and selling products to be comparable. I've had a lot more sales on Zazzle but made a lot more money on FAA. Usually less than $1 on Z and around $70 on FA.
There's a lot more effort involved in Zazzle than there is in FAA and I'm not really happy with the way some of the Zazzle products come out with the weird font sizing system they use.
