Yes, some of you are making a killing on DT but the last four months I seen my sales go down by 90%. Each month seems to be getting worse and worse- I am still uploading praying that things will get better but so far nothing. I wonder if I am the only one?  :'(

No, you are not the only one. There has been a lot of chatter about it.  My June was 1/3 of May.  I've only sold one sub in July, but it's a holiday week in the U.S. so hopefully everyone will be back to work tomorrow.

BTW, looks like they have been doing some work on their statistics page today - different than yesterday.

DT has been bad for me for the last couple of years. The golden times are over.

Lately their price change action hasn't caused any improvements either.

No idea if they ever will do better.

Customer (contributor) service is atrocious. No one listens. Their approval policy is just ridiculous.

You think!

To many similars, all different focal lengths from different angles with different lenses closeups, distances etc.

Give me a break.

Oh there are plenty of other instances not just the similar issue. It's catching up to them now.

It would be sensible if that was their policy but "similar" has been used for photos that are unlike anything I've uploaded before.  It stopped me uploading, not worth the effort, especially when combined with commission cuts and lower earnings.

Sadly my numbers are way down as well, especially noticeable the last couple of months. I have no explanation for this but I am saddened by it because I used to be one of their biggest fans and supporters, both as a contributor and buyer. But I must confess that their price rises led me to switch over to SS as a buyer which proved to be of better value when considering both price and selection. I have gone back and looked at DT again since they said they were adjusting their prices but I don't see any changes so will continue to stick with SS for the forseeable future.

The prices increases might have killed DT! This would make sense on the decrease of sales on their site! I am so close to not uploading anymore to them- heck I did better on Panther Media last month!

I had a good month of June at DT - they beat both IS and SS (they are usually in 3rd place for me). I do have a small port (ca 350-400 images).

If June is crap month than July is turning out to be even worse! I figure I must be doing something wrong or bumped down to the lowest level  >:(

my DT sales have held steady over the last year whi;e SS have grown by over 50%

the latest changes on DT show a slight increase, but need a few months more to tell for sure

their review/acceptance process does slow down getting new images in place

SS is getting better for me but I still hate their subjective LCV rejections.  DT...ohy vey. Up one minute and down the next then dealing with too similars...different images using similar keywords..gets u slammed. If I were a betting man I would say that.....................DT is the next to be bought......or merged...just thinking out loud.
