It seems [Just to me perhaps] there has been an uptick in sales the last 10 Days or so as I watch this stuff very closely. Newer Images selling,More OD's and SOD's and Higher number of subs. Anyone else. a few friends who are Old timers also have said the same. I don't mean it's WhoHoo time but, it feels better.

I started a similar thread last week, but it got overrun by childish bickering. But yes, last week was a good week. Today is another crap day though with over 2200 files.

volume wise no. but I had a few EL's and a video sale. Subs down and OD seems inconsistent. $1.24, $2.85, $18, $0 all weekday numbers.

I've noticed an increase in the past 10 days, for sure.  The question is, is this the normal significant increase we would normally see right after Labor Day or is something else happening?

To me, it looks like the typical post-Labor Day bump... same percent increase as the past several years.  Are you seeing something that suggests otherwise?

August was slow, but September is doing very well for me.  Things can always fall apart in the second half, but right now I'm on track for a BME.  11% ahead of my previous best month.

Nice bounce back - income and sales volume are back to pre-summer stats. If the sales volume keeps up it will be a good month. Encouraging signs. New stuff is a miniscule percent of sales though, so I'm not very confident about growth there.

Awful for me. Same low numbers as the summer. Holiday images are starting to sell, but magically, non-holiday images stop selling at exactly the same rate. I get new followers all the time, but I'm guessing they're illustrators and not buyers.

Lets see how it works out in a few weeks. Im up about 30% over august . Lots of OD's for some reason. Fingers crossed for all.

DL's steady at 400+/month with less than 400 images. Seem to have more subs the last 1 months and less ODD's. No big SOD's or EL's since July which was a BME (in the 2 years I'm there). Considering the July bounty, I suppose I might have to wait awhile for a month with multiple EL's and SOD's!

Conclusion: Ticking over..neither ecstatic nor consumed with doom.  :D

To me August was better than September on the same period.  :(

My sales have been very odd this month. Last week both Tues and Fri I had less sales than either Sat or Sun. A few quite good days and then a day worse than a weekend. The total $ is pretty good, but less total sales - the OD sales are up a bit - but they are probably not statistically valid - too much of a one off sort of event. Still, I'll take the $ thank you.
I have seen a few more sales of recent files which is nice.

Pretty good month so far, nothing too crazy, apart from one day with several SODs that broke all my records... How do you guys call this - "BDE"? :-)

Just wondering if this could be buyers leaving Istock, and causing an increase in ODDs as they used to be credit buyers at Istock. With the new credits being ridiculously expensive, they might go for the cheaper option at Shutterstock.

Get about one good day per week, otherwise still dire. :(

First 10 days of september were great, in number of downloads and OD's.
But the last few days have been really slow.

Yes, same here. Since last Friday, sales are back on an August level (which was not good for me)...

Agree, it was short-lived. As of Saturday it is back to being poor.

August was great for me.

This month I sold a video clip that I've been seeing on a political ad every night.  Rather cool.  Halfway through the month and this should be another good one.

I have one images that sells once or twice a day and a few other that sell nearly every other day.  Then a lot of images that never seem to sell.

Bad news was today when I had one of those batch of images rejected for random "lighting" reasons problems.  Seems better to upload one at a time.
