Hi Everyone!

I'm a local fire department photographer, I would like to begin listing my first responder images online do you have any recommended stock agencies? I have submitted to a few waiting for approval, I know in this game the more agencies the better.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Matt

Not necessarily.
Read around this forum and you'll see that a lot of them are a total waste of time.
Choose a few of the better ones and see where your files sell best.
That may not be the same as those in other genres.

I agree to a point. If it was my work and I had niche work like that I would not even consider sites that are primarily subscription sales and pay pennies on the dollar. I'd put them into a mid range site and/or RM as they are potentially unique and niche images. It might take a little longer to get the ball rolling, but when it rolls you will be glad you are not selling yourself short just to make a couple of cents per download. I am with one site exclusively and I fair very well. Quality and niche work will always sell so why sell it to the lowest bidder?

The images you link in the other thread are very editorial style, just documentary of what is going on.  Very eye-level, simple composition.  If you can create some images with your access like these, you'd probably have better luck.

Here's some I've done as well:
