Nothing has changed with the Adobe distribution deal yet, but look at the numbers climbing.

As I write this, iStock Ind. 33.5 and FT 32.1

Anyone else think we will see FT passing IS this month? That sure would be an interesting development.

Still hoping that the Adobe purchase will improve relations for contributors. More than that, wondering when something will actually change? I hate to use the overused term, but could be a "game changer".

Ft did pass iS for a bit. It was at 33 and iS was at 30. Looks like it changed today.

FT was briefly above IS 2 days ago, I copied it into a comment somewhere. It will all settle back when more people submit their numbers. But they are close, thats for sure.

It's just a matter of time before FT joins the Top 2.

IS will become the new member of the "DT club".

For me FL frequently out earns IS, has done since summer last year. DT sometime does better than either IS or FL too.

Yes, the numbers were quite different a few days ago; I mentioned it in the Feb earnings thread.

Mysteriously not only did the iS non-exclusive number climb up by about 3 pts, the exclusive number zoomed up to heights not seen this year. Very ... interesting.

On the Fotolia side it is also worth noting that they've climbed probably by 9 points since the beginning of the year - which is quite a bit, I think.

I always do not understand what means "better/ bad".
If you make $100 a month and now $101 (better) it means .. what?
If you generate $100 and each month +10% since 3 months.. yeah i think that`s better.
This is my problem at msg. Very hard to read and understand all posts. I saw threads about microstock sites some members say they earned less money. Maybe because they just uploaded 100 images? Or is it true and so i beware of bad sites? I don`t know.

Everyone has their own "good" and "bad." A few years ago I was happy to make a "Christmas bonus" with my drawings, so what I earned was "good." But now I'd like to draw full time, so my earnings, though much higher now than they were a couple of years ago, are "bad" now because I haven't reached my new earnings goal yet.

Here iStock does not move so much.
But Fotolia is growing (slowly) every month.

Improving sales last month and this so far. Even had an EL (X) today which is an unusual occurrence for me at FT.

good call uncle pete, how quickly the game change
only awhile back we were all hating fotolia with dc
now with adobe suddenly they are the new darlings.
how would this play out with dollar club??? you cannot swing both ways with fotolia,
or can you???
i ask this from those who are still with fotolia as it's been long while i withdrew my port with them.
if adobe is going to change the game, and ss keep listening to shareholders instead of contributors, we may all be looking to fotolia ???

You may be right but it's a bit too soon to know.  Or did I miss where adobe announced what their plans were for FT and their contributors?

Fotolia has been climbing steadily for me ever since the beginning of the year. In fact, Jan and Feb I made my minimum for both months for the first time ever - and this month looks to be the same.
Interestingly, so far this month. (big sample, I know!) I've sold exactly the same amount of images with both FT and SS. My sale on SS, however, are 5 times those on FT for the month. Funny what a single $89 SOD can do for your totals! THAT'S the advantage SS has for all of us; and why it's consistently at the top.
