Today ExifStock 1.0.0 is released!

With ExifStock you can fill in the meta data fields one after another and save it into the JPEG image. The field photographer will be filled automatically with your name.

The program can be used with the keyboard or the mouse. Input using only the keyboard would be faster.

All features are listed on the website.

It is important to run setup with administrator rights!

When you uninstall a BETA your data will be preserved. So i recommand first uninstall BETA and then install the new version (at the same location).

i would make a little video i don't get it what should be advantage compared to other tools. and why exif shouldn't it be iptc? and why should the photographers name important it's the least inportant field if you are doing stock and gets stripped out from the metadata by the agencies anyway. Are you doing stock photography you doesn't seem to know the industry very well.

The name is Exif, but indeed IPTC data is written.

The advantages of ExifStock is:
- Fast input of mtadata, by only using the keyboard
- Build your own keyword library (divide keywords in categories)

That the photographers name is stripped by the agencies, i didn't know that.

Thank you for your post!

Mrommens, do you want tagging built into the tool?

Auto keywording is difficult to implement.
To get a good result in searches, keywords need to be specific for each image.

But i am thinking (and do some research) about a handy auto keywording feature.

What about fill in the meta data into mov (video) file? For JPEGs there are tons of programs to fill in meta data but none of them works for video files.
Best

Have you tested and confirmed that any agencies read video metadata? As far as I know only CSVs can be used to populate video tags.

P5 reads video metadata! The problem is SS so I have to do it manually.

Version 1.2.0 is released!
http://stockphoto-tools.com/download.html

With many new features, the most important are:
* Save the metadata also in the original tiff file (with the same name otherwise a dialog opens to select an tiff flie).
* New meta data menu
* Copy metadata from a jpeg file
* The author and author function fields are removed (the are unnecessary)

I hope you enjoy the new features

Thank you for downloading ExifStock!
Some antivirus sees it, as virus, because the program is not downloaded many times
You can make a exception for the program

What for antivirus program do you use?
