I suppose some of the people here that I talk to already know but, I have never really planned on selling photography. I'm a designer, I just ... don't intend to be a photographer but, I've been getting a bit of attention because I have a little herd of models. Is this sort of thing worth any money? I mean ... some of the location oriented spots and others (clothing and things) would need to be editorial but ... I guess I've all but given up on stock so it really doesn't matter much ... I've just been grooving on shooting the kids. lol.

I am not a graphic designer, but I wonder if a resume written with Comic Sans type-font is the right choice. Also your website needs to look the dogs bollocks. Its your business card, the first thing your potential client will see first, a showcase.

As for your photo, I think genuine stuff will sell, but the processing seems a bit overdone. Its over saturated as you can see the magenta and cyan pixels in the tap are too rich. Its also visible in her eyes.

Cute girl though, would be a good model.

Those are just fun family pictures.  I wouldn't call them stock, though.

Just be careful about submitting photos of your kids you never know how they'll end up being used

As for the shots on FB they are nice family keepsakes but stock? No.

Keep them for memories  :)

Thanks guys!

Silly late night thought after probably one or two too many beers ... I'm not entirely sure that I'd even like to start selling them and that might even kill it for me. Quite a few were oversaturated on purpose, dark rainy day, shot terribly underexposed ... Ron, it isn't Comic Sans ... it shares some similarities, I just needed something that showed some sort of ... character ... It's Segoe. ( and no, it hasn't gotten me a new job yet ;) )

It fit the bill really ... If I had it at home Bradley Hand would have been my choice but, Segoe fit well also. (and I doubt many people could tell the difference)
