For those of you who shoot people, in particular those who shoot one gender at a time. Which gender do you find sells better overall, regardless of the theme of the photo.

In my experience I find the men typically outsell women, year after year. Though my best seller of all time is a female. I find women around 18-20 years of age to be typically the lowest selling.

As I was taking pictures of bald eagles, I found out the females are bigger but the males are cuter and more photogenic.  Neither gender sells that well anymore.

Based on average RPI for new files, I would say transgender is best selling right now. Transgender moose, of course, is the key to financial independence.

I suspect vast oversupply of young attractive females as most photographers are unattractive middle aged hetrosexual males like me who like taking pictures of pretty girls.

I'm in Australia, we don't have moose here. What am I meant to do to achieve financial independence?

I feel so downtrodden by privileged white male moose photographers 😐

With all the PC POLICE in the USA in full swing I would claim that gender neutral is the weighted winner.d

They are hard to find these days. On my last trip to Everglades I didn't see a single one. Could be the proliferation of the  Burmese pythons has something to do with it. Or too many transgender moose in the recent past.

I definitely sell more pics of women than men. Especially in the fitness and weight loss market where sellers need pics of skinny women.

My best selling pic is of a bowl of fruit though so there's opportunities everywhere.

Don't know, but I beleave, that pics of women will always sell better, because generally more females are represented in advertising. However, my bestseller is a simple shot of a granite pavement, and I've always wondered why  8)

It's probably a female rock, but you take it for granite.

Ha ha. ... ha.

To Whom? Who's the buyer? There is no in general anything, stock photos are sold on need, not statistics.
