The classic view was much better and user friendly IMHO.
Personally I don't like the new view :(

I can still switch (Western USA) -  is this in the process of rolling out globally?

This is a case of cleaner design vs more useful design...and the wrong side won out. iStock need better designers in their team...most of their site have poor usability.

Apart from anything else, the new view is much, much slower than the classic view.
That alone should surely ring loud warning bells.

The classic view is still available for me. I can't stand the new view. I really don't appreciate it.

Classic view is gone from me here in the USA SC. Wonder if buyers will care?

From my understanding it is gone from search some time this week and still available on the File Close Up Page for a while longer

The classic view tastes great, but the new view is less filling.  :)

Exactly my experience!
SS search usability is the best as of now IMHO.

I always switched to classic view to search. New version sucks. I guess no suprise getty went with the wrong decision.

Dear istock, please keep the classic view as an option. I prefer it too. Thanks.

Why to change something that works?
Getty had so few things that work good on iStock site!
Now they have one less. >:(

I still have the classic view here in France. Hopefully they will keep it because I share the same opinion with you.

I also always switched to the classic view. Stupid idea to get rid of it

Still have the classic view for now. But just noticed something new. Previously my download numbers under an image showed only IS downloads. The numbers just jumped up, and it looks like they're including PP downloads in the numbers on the IS site.

My DeepMeta numbers haven't changed -- they still show the old numbers..

I'm a newbie. Tiny port. Boarded the ship as it was sinking.  :^(

I hate it so much. So frustrating to have no choice but the new view that is'nt friendly for contributor searching in our own portefolio. I guess it's not friendly for buyers too. But I'm not surprise about their decision. They always choose the bad one.

I don't like the new ADP one bit, but if you read the appropriate thread on the iS/Getty forum, you'll see how to change the sort method within your own port. (I also couldn't find this myself until I read it, it's unintuitive and fiddly, but it works.)

The worst part is the loss of your own image linking when switching to classic view on an ADP,  giving your other same topic/style images a fighting chance to be seen and bought.
Now we're left with a joke of a similars carousel. Should be called Dissimilar Images.

I still can't get use to the new view of istock images preview in search. Too much space waste between the thumbnail. Hard to make a search in our own portfolio ... I don't understand this change. I want the classic view back.

Speaking of this, I used to have a direct link to prior months sales stats graph, without going thru the profile page.  My computer died, and I lost all my bookmarks.   Anybody have the link to that stats page.  It saved alot of time.

Looks like the new search results page again has the button to switch to classic view at the bottom of the page.
