Has anyone received sales report for Feb 2016? I still haven't received it. Normally I receive it on 20th.

FAQs say that:

"Statements are available each month. They will be online by the 20th of the month and will report sales that occurred in the previous month. For example, the Statement for sales that occurred in January will be available by February 20th."

Anything from Getty forums?

There is a lot of discomfort at Getty forum since Friday, but no answer from Getty till now.
It's very unusual that there are no reports yet. Normaly i receive mine on 19th.

Best regards,

Martin

I got mine, and it was a good month  :D

BTW, Getty released a statement regarding the delay:

Date: 3/21/2016 12:46 PM

Statements delayed

It just recently was brought to our attention that there was an issue with the process that makes the monthly royalty statements available. We are working quickly to address the issue and will provide another update once we know when the statements will be available. Thank you.

It was really worth the wait!

This still was sold for $4850!!!

30% royalties is a pain in the ass, but after all a good income.

Macrostock is awesome, you can get big sales, but i'm a bit afraid of a refund.
Crossing fingers for getting no refund...

With the other sales, video and stills, February gets me about $2000 with Getty.
I know Getty has not the best reputation, i agree, but Getty is sometimes able to put a smile in your face! ;)

Best regards,

Martin

I think Getty's bad reputation is mostly due to iStock and not Getty itself..

Martin, if I may ask, how do you get 30% at Getty?

Congratulations Martin! Please tell us, how to become Getty contributor? I think they are very picky when it comes to whom to invite to become a contributor. Any points? :)

Not necessarily.
This is a fantastic value sale for a great image; but Getty sales can and do net cents, not dollars.
Getty had a dreadful reputation among photographers long before they bought iS.

@MarcvsTvllivs

Getty is giving me for RM pictures 30%
For images that were bought in the same territory like the photo was shot even 35%
RF images 20%

@PhotoDude

Getty invited me via my Vimeo account. They saw my movies:

Unfortunately they stopped inviting via Vimeo.

Thank you for the link. Does it matter if I have an IStock portfolio? When I followed the link it says " by submitting your images you are applying to become either a Getty Images OR iStock by Getty Images contributor"..

Most people are reporting declining sales on Getty.
The search ranking changed recently to favour RF resulting in people saying sales have dropped off the cliff.
Also Shutterstock are taking alot of their business.

I'm just a contributor there since 2011.. What bad things should I know about them then?

Congratulations Martin on that awesome sale.

Video man myself and an awesome month there it was, with quite a range of royalties though. The largest royalty for a clip was 936x greater then the smallest  :D

Nothing so far. My biggest sale at Getty $4500 net. Biggest at Alamy where I've been 4 year longer than Getty is $265 net. Conclusion, Alamy is pathetic.

Woo-hoo.  :)

Still, I've never had an 18c net sale from Alamy.
