I don't have a large portfolio (220 images), but I upload them to about 10 different agencies. I earned most on Shutterstock definitely, on second place Istock, and the third is DT. I have few exclusive images and they do have a lot more views and downloads, but, is it worth going exclusive on DT these days?

I would have to make 5x as much on SS to go exclusive if they offered it, so probably not worthwhile for me, anyway.  With everything that's going on in micro stock today, I would be hesitant to put all my assets in one basket.  Maybe image/video exclusivity like Dreamtime offers but even then to really make it pay, those few files would have to sell a lot.  However, my gut tells me that SS will be offering exclusivity soon as a competitive move. That will be a significant shakeup if the royalties are right.

Why dont you just decide on a theme that you upload exclusively to dreamstime? All your cheese and wine images, only family photos or only travel.

That leaves you free to supply the others as well, because in this industry things change very fast. If dreamstime gets sold or has to close, you will lose a lot of money.

what? where? dreamstime??? LMAO!!!
if there is one site i would go exclusive, it is the site that pays me every month for the past 5 years...

and that too, they are not interested in exclusiveness; at least that's what Oringer said.

but if they did, with added bonus of higher earning for exclusive. i would..
when shutterstock offers me. and only shutterstock.

Going exclusive with dt means that you can not upload to any other agency. Would you really give up on Ss?

Dreamstime is also image exclusive. But if you want to be fully exclusive to dreamstime then no way to upload to other agencies.

Mentioned was exclusive to dreamstime so i tought it was about going fully to dreamstime.

I've never seen an agency that's worth going exclusive for.  Best to keep your eggs in several baskets.

I don't understand quantum physics in detail and I don't understand why people become DT-exclusives.
