Well I don't know how big part of buyers are news agencies but I believe that all of them was fulled with Olympics related pictures, like most of the internet these days so its probably resulting in decreasing number of downloads for us who don't have Olympics content in portfolios. Again, don't know how big impact can be here, I have been in business for just couple of months so I don't have anything to compare with.

Most of us on the micros don't have content which would be in any sort of competition with 'hot' Olympics images.
I sell a proportionate or better number of editorials, but not 'hot' news, so I'm sure I didn't lose out directly.
But iS credit sales have been on the down and down since they introduced subs.

I was clearly a much better photographer in 2011. Yet again, 9 of my last 20 credit sales were editorial files uploaded in 2011.
Before anyone rushes out to shoot editorials, I'm very specific about that year. The many I uploaded after that are much less successful there as credit sales.

Well I believe you know better about that, at the end I had only 17 years back in 2011 and had no idea whats stock photography :)
