I got a rejection in IS for image being up-sampled.  Yes, it was 1% upsized just to make it back to the original size after I cropped a small distraction at the corner.  I put the two images side by side and can't tell the difference in texture, detail or sharpness. Can you in this sample?

Adelaide

I don't one which one is the up-sampled one, but the lower one is clearly sharper. Did you do any sharpening as well?

With IS and SS, I'm very careful not to do anything, except down-sizing if I feel the image isn't sharp/noise-free enough. Their reviewers are technically very skilled.

We must have had the same reviewer: I got a "this image has been upsized" rejection today, too. Needless to say, it wasn't upsized - it hadn't even been cropped - and it was accepted everywhere else.

iStock ... sigh.

Epixx,

The one at the top is the upsized one.  But as you can see, I got two pieces of the exact size and more or less of the same location just to show that upsizing was very subtle.

Sharply,

Have you ever had this problem before and got Scout to reassess it?  I could upload a downsized image, but it bothers me that they think I was doing something "illegal".

Adelaide
