Did the review time go up at SS this week?
Have some in the queue since Thu (?) last week or so.
Just would like to know if it just me  ;)

Thanks.

It has been a bit slower lately but I remember waiting 5 days once and it is not that bad now.

They've been taking 3 or 4 days, but then you never know when they are added to the search engine any more.  Sometimes it takes another 3 or 4 days for them to appear.  What's up over there???  What happened to the good old days of upload on Sundays?

My review times have been averaging 2.1/2 days lately. I only managed to get 3 batches in last week. Slower than usual, but still pretty easy to live with.

I just had a batch take around three days if it's any consolation.

Is it just me or do they immediately review images that you submit on friday. This happened to me two weeks in a row now. I submitted some images before I went to bed, when I woke up they were already accepted. So much about being fresh on monday  ::)

I must have my account tagged review on Friday because it dosent seam to matter what day I submit my images they get reviewed Friday! Out of the last 9 batches only 1 wasn't reviewed Friday!!!!!

Thursday night I had one reviewed in a half hour, I just put it in the que.  At the same time an image that had been there a day was reviewed.  A submission from later that night hasn't been reviewed yet.  They have been a real consistent 24 hours or less since easter for me (almost always beat FT, 123RF is sometimes quicker), for this file to go through 2 pms is very unusual as of late.

Does it depend on what country you are in? All mine lately are done on a Friday regardless of submission dates so about 1 week for me.

Day 6 for me. I also included original drawings with the submission. I've been with SS for 3 years. So I'm not a new account.

And that doesn't stop them to still keep their "Please allow 72 hours for your photos to be processed" message lmao.

If the 1st sentence really refers to that, than the other one sound even worse - it states their review will take 48h "in many cases".
Regarding getting online, it's always in less than 24h in my case...

btw, don't quote the post above yours if you wanna be a smartass.

It actually says 7 days

How long does it take for content to be reviewed?
We review all uploaded content in a fair and detailed manner. As a result, some reviews may take up to seven days.

I a not sure what you are trying to say, but I am not the one trying to be a smartass

Initial review of new accounts may take 7 to 10 days.
Then you simply can't read properly... and you just have a need to "correct" and laugh at people, despite that you can't even read a simple paragraph as a whole. But ok, you are not trying to be a smartass...
Needless to say, we all know that these 48-72h for review and a week for initial approval (10 photo application) was exactly how it was 2+ years ago... Now they should change that paragraph because it looks silly for a long time now, especially because it seems that it might go even higher than 10 days. Clear now?

Imagin, I am not sure what you are trying to prove here, but I quoted directly from SS, and then you go on proving my earlier statement. Seems you are out for a fight, which makes you a troll.

I am talking about emails which they send to people to confirm that they received the upload. That was obvious right from my 1st message. Even too obvious, so I don't know what are you trying to do here. Surely not anything constructive.
If you really just misunderstood my message, you could just check or ask instead of posting your smartass reply.
So it's ironic that you call me a troll, because this "discussion" seems like your pathetic trolling attempt (or maybe just the lack of basic manners?). In either case, this kind of forum shouldn't be the place for these stuff, so I won't spend anymore my keyboard on somebody like you.
And I definitely won't give you back a minus - degrading myself to your level would be quite terrible.

cheers

Have you actually read what you wrote in your first comment, you dont even mention that you are talking about an email. And you were talking about 72 hours, which is the processing time and not the review time.  I corrected you and then you became nasty and started throwing out insults. And yet you seem to think my level is degrading.

It's not just you. I'm getting almost 1 day turn-around. Amazing! I'm so used to the queue being stuck for 2 weeks.  8)

Mine got reviewed faster than expected and rejected faster than expected. Sure, maybe some deserved it, but isolated objects with almost no blank space around them rejected for composition? Silhouettes rejected for lighting? I wonder if this is courtesy of some new software?

It is a shame because it almost seemed like new images might be selling again.

There may be reason for this. 132,156 new stock images added this week.
Since review time has corrected now due to which a huge number of files are now coming online now per week. By rejecting images they are now looking for better quality so that they can maintain their per week ratio.

I thought that all the reviewers knew that "ISOLATED ON WHITE" does not get rejected for composition!!!!!

Someone taught that reviewer wrong and is still around I see!!!!

Dunno, suppose you have something isolated on white and there is a ton of white but very little something?

Or a white cube isolated on a white background in a snowstorm?

Agree, there also could be composition errors on how the subject is photographed, like the angle for example. Or important stuff cropped off like a limb.
