I noticed last week that my sub sales at JIU had stopped on Nov 18 so I decided early on in this week to have someone I knew with a JIU subscription download 2 images of mine. Well, I waited all day for something to post to my account and when it never did I contacted support. Although I have not heard back from support yet for the last 2 days I have had JIU downloads post to my account all at 4:14 am so I am assuming this is some sort of system update/processing which is catching up.

So my point is only to remind other contributors that StockXpert is still having issue's with this (unless I am a single rare case) and if you don't watch out you may fall through the cracks!

When I first started with StockXpert I emailed support and actually got a phone call response! Now I can't get emailed responses, this is the 2nd time  :'( but I still have faith in them cleaning up!

I appreciate the headsup NYT.   So far I seem to be getting credit for all mine - at least I am getting some every day.

Have you heard back from support?  If so, how did they explain the sale not showing?

Thanks Lisa!

No, I haven't heard back from anybody :'( I am glad to hear others are not having this problem though.

Didn't we get an e-mail (maybe middle of October?) stating that JI subs wouldn't be posted to our account for 7 days?

Hmmm.. I didn't get an email like that and I do save all of StockXpert's anymore. I am now getting daily sub downloads. Would love to see it though if you still have it.

Jupiter subs represent about 13% of my DLs on StockXpert for December vice about 9% for November.  Would be interested others' results.

For what it's worth, I see the same pattern as NYTumbleweeds. Sales were perking along as normal for the last few months through December 18 -- and then zero downloads from December 19 onwards. Contacted StockXpert support and got a reply two days ago which I felt was less than helpful:

"I apologize for the inconvenience. At this time we are unaware of any system issues.  The number of views an image attracts could be based different factors such as image quality or popularity. Our suggestion is to communicate with artists who receive a fair number of views to get ideas for your work."

StockXpert, JUS, and Photos.com are pretty much running equal to one another (33% each).

My JUI and Photos.com sales stopped completely on Dec. 20...this after getting them daily.  Something is definitely up.  Guess I need to contact support.

I haven't had any JUI sales in the last couple of weeks, but put it down to the holidays.  I will definitely keep an eye on them as we get into next week, though.

Yep, same here. I hadn't even paid attention, but my last non-StockXpert sale was Dec 18.

Hi guys,

Hope you had a good holiday. Thanks for reporting this. I'm looking into it.

Thanks Steve. I had 37 downloads from December 1 to December 18 and zero (across all SX channels) since then. Statistically, this is highly unlikely -- unless the search algorithm has changed entirely. And any change there is not too significant as the number of views per image that I saw for December was down a little from November but only a little which is consistent with a holiday slowdown.

Relative to other agencies, they saw a slowdown of about 50% from normal traffic but not one stopped altogether during this period.

Hi everyone,

Ok. We identified a problem with how sales data is being reported from Photos.com and JIU to StockXpert. The data is being recorded and logged; it's just not flowing to StockXpert. Our dev and tech teams are working quickly to fix the problem and restore the data to your balance sheets.

Thanks for your patience and let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Steve & thanks for posting here about this. I never did hear back from support about this and earlier today (before reading this update) I emailed them again as this problem is still going on for me as well. Very anxious for the resolution.

Has anyone got any StockXpert and affiliates sales in 2009?

No sales from JIU and Photo.com since late December either, but now that I read Steve's post, I'm confident that they'll come in a bunch. Well, I expect it :)

Well I have only about 180 images on StockXpert but I was getting very regular downloads through Dec. 29th and then nothing.  Most of my downloads were StockXpert PPDs and my last two were StockXpert PPDs.  Last JiU sub was Dec. 13th.

Have you had PPD sales as StockXpert this year?  Just wondering if anything is working there.

You mean credit sales in StockXpert itself, not through Photos.com?  I had credits sales in StockXpert.

I had 1 JIU sale today but none of the previous downloads have been recorded yet.  :-\
Also no StockXpert or Photos.com sales at all this year so far. Rather concerning.

I had 2 JIU sales update this morning as well but that is it. Still no response from StockXpert. Yes, I've had a ppd sale early on in Jan. Nothing else...

I had both JUI and Photos.com sales recorded this morning too.  No word on when we will be credited with back sales though...

Here's the latest ...

The data for current sales is now flowing from Photos.com and JIU to StockXpert. The next step is to retrieve past sales data from the Photos.com/JIU side and import it to Stockxpert and into your balance sheets.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks
-Steve

Hi everyone,

Photos.com and JIU sales data since Dec. 20 have been added to Stockxpert, and these earnings have been populating your balance sheets throughout last night and this morning.

As usual, sorry for the inconvenience, and let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Steve

Well I woke up this morning to 10 photos.com sales and 8 JIU sales added to my account.
My most sub sales on any day at SX so far. Hope it keeps up

Thanks a lot Steve for getting this sorted out quickly :)

Opted in back almost 2 months ago... still not a single sale, instead more subs on StockXpert, considering opting out back for final.

Patrick.

Wow a lott of JIU sales last week!
Too bad it's only 30 cent per sale.
And it looks like "Stockxpert pay-per-downloads" are going down.

Not sure if this info will help your decision, Patrick, but I opted out last week because of the reporting bug(again), and my StockXpert sales are still very slow.  I expected a big uptick in PPD sales there and this week that is not happening.

Hi Lisa,

I'm still undecided, i'll give it another month or so... If sales stay poor or non existent i'll opt out final.  I'll also disable subs at StockXpert by that time if i decide to not participate anymore in photos.com and JIU.

Patrick.

I am really sorry to be having to resurrect this issue again, but as of Friday the 13th (ironic?) my JUI and Photos.com sales aren't showing up again.

Since I generally have at least some of them every day I am betting the "reporting issue" is back.  :(

Maybe not, Lisa. At least, it seems not for me. I just looked and I see JUI sales every day of the 13th - 17th except for the 15th. Photos.com sales have really slowed down for me; none reported since the 11th. But it seems unlikely that only photos.com would stop reporting (though not impossible).

Hopefully it's all just a variation in sales, and not reporting problems again.

I'm getting JIU downloads more or less every day...
These JUI sales are combines with some StockXpert PPD and StockXpert SUBS..  Downloads from photos.com are very rare.... I only have a small portfolio at StockXpert and I find it quite funny to follow the downloads there, becaurse it's sometimes the "stangest" images that attracts all the attention... Even images that I expected to be rejected, are downloaded there   ;D

Take a look for yoyr self.... http://www.stockxpert.com/browse_image/profile/fljac    - and by strange images, I mean images that in many cases, not even are viewed on other sites...

I am getting JIU and photos.com subs but never seem to get any pay per download or EL's from them.  If there are no PPD sales there, I would like to see the subs commissions raised, 30 cents is much lower than some of the other sites.

Thanks for posting.  Looks like maybe it's just me.  Weird though to go from double digit sales on both sites every day to none on either in five days....

I had opted out about a month ago.  Maybe they removed my images from those sites.  Didn't take anywhere near 90 days if that is the case.  :)

That is strange, can see why you would take notice. Thank you for sharing, you never know when it could happen again! Although for you being opted it out it shouldn't be an issue :)
