FREE TELESEMINAR WITH PHOTOGRAPHER
STEPHEN MALLON
ON MAY 20, 2009, AT 6:00P.M. (PST), 9:00P.M. (EST)

As announced in the blog post last week I am facilitating a free teleseminar with Stephen Mallon. If you are interested in finding out about how he landed the job of shooting the salvage operation of the plane, almost lost his rights to his images and how he got it back please sign up here: http://Photosecrets.biz

This is not about Microstock, but a general photography topic that is of interest due to a recent event and a copyright and use licensing issue.

That's not got much spam in it

Wife:

Wife:

Customer:

Thanks for that :) It's rather cool that the Monty Python people have set up an official YouTube channel to distribute their content for free.

Yeah. The funny thing is that their dvd sales climbed almost to the top of the most selling items on Amazon soon after they released the channel.

Alias - what is your problem? Maybe we should take this outside? Are you stalking me?

If you are not interested in anything outside of your word - be quiet. You are repetitive and your comments are out of line and once again unprofesional.

There are other photographers who want to hear this and have signed up. Please don't ruin it for everyone else. Hate away somewhere else.

I'd agree. This is supposed to be a forum for the discussion of issues not your personal free advertising space.

If you want to advertise your products or services then the professional thing to do (as you keep lecturing everyone else about) would be to pay for one of the advertisement slots. Simply starting new threads every other day to pimp your own site/services is just spam.

Wrong. "Alias" is a valued forum contributor. He's at home here. Near-spammers that bump in with two unrelated threads are the ones that should take their business elsewhere, or pay for advertisement.

I agee, if you want to use Leaf's forum for pimping then at least have the decency to pay him for an advertising slot then people would be a lot more willing to take seriously what you have to say.

Yes, it's true that could be done, and that brings up something that's a little bothersome to me. Do advertisers know that some people pay not  to see their ads? Isn't it double-dipping to have companies pay to advertise while also giving members the option of paying not  to see them?
