Hey people, here's a twist to the advantage of updating your computer.
I was playing my DVDs and enjoying my movies since I bought my laptop . But last weeks after I played the DVD Fantastic Four the movie which I bought from the superstore , and that night I got a little note to say there is an update for Media Player. After that, it did not recognize my DVD or any other DVDs . It still plays my CDs even the ones burnt from generic CDs.

I read somewhere it had to do with the update, and rolling back would solve it. I did roll back but still no luck. HELLLLLLP! i need to watch Fantastic Four again . ..
I like to see Jessica Alba kick ass while I work on my new photos to upload soon to StockXpert, DT, Cutcaster, etc..

Oh btw, I also tried to open it directly from DivX and VideoLAN but they don't work. I prefer using DIVX and VideoLAN , and I have the Combined Community Codec pak which the store told me to get. I think Windows Media Player screws things up for you. Is there a way to not use Windows Media Player?  I don't need the streaming,etc... so once someone helps me to get it to play DVDs again, I am going to leave it as that and not update anything else ,esp Media Player ,lol
