FT     26%
IS      26%
SS     21%
DT    16%
StockXpert    6%
BS      3%
123rf  2%

Overall 5% down on last month but that's to be expected with the holidays in the middle of the month.
Biggest dissapointment  was SS but the loss there was mostly taken up by an amazing month at DT and a good end to the month at IS.

Why do you do so badly at IS compared to the rest?  I'm amazed to see even 123rf beating it.

I dont know. IS was almost always on LAST place for me. I hate it anyway. Complicated system, but not much money in return.

FT - 9%
CS - 4%
123 - 4%

Overall down 20% due to multiple EL's last month and none this month.  :'( Still happy though. 2nd best month of the year.

IS 31,44 20% down on last month, which was BME
DT 18,18 BMTY, close to a BME
SS 15,74 still going down, I'm not feeding the beast
FT 13,06 BMTY
123rf 11,59 10% down on last month
StockXpert 8,49 40% down on last month
BigStock 1,50 60% down on last month
Overall 15% down since last month.

Observations:
- looks like IS took the role of my best earner. They've been #1 for 3 out of 4 months this year. best match looks promising, more images are getting downloads, even some old ones that never got any downloads before
- SS is really going down, need to find some time to upload new stuff. I expect they would bounce back a bit if I did it
- had a pretty good month at DT, they are very consistently growing for me. BME in regards to $/dl.
- don't know what happened at StockXpert, worst month since last April when I started uploading

IS  41%  BME
DT  21%  BME
SS  17%
123RF  6%  BME
StockXpert  6%
FT  5%
BigStock  3%

BME overall. :) 28% increase in sales from previous month. 75% change from Jan 08.
The search engine changes at IS and DT have been very advantageous for me.
Passed 1000 downloads at IS this month with a little over a year of uploading.

Here is some data from a newbie.  I started contributing to microstock sites in mid-January.  April was the second full month in which I had images on SS and IS.  My portfolios range in size from 101 on IS to 198 on StockXpert. I added about 45 images to the various sites in April.

April was my BME on all sites except for 123RF.

SS      42.64%
IS       21.25%
StockXpert    12.20%
FT        8.64%
DT       8.35%
BigStock     4.80%
123RF  2.12%

Overall my BME.  Breakdown as follows:

Istock     39%
Fot         18% (second BME after Nov 08)
SS          16%
DT          13% (BME)
StockXpert         6%
BigStock         4%
Canstock  3%  (BME
123         2%
Crest       1%

Glad I hung in there with Canstock.  Fotosearch sales definitely put them on the map in April.

WOW, nice chart,, oboy.  I can see how useful it must be with all those agencies.

I was surprised at your DT results.  Is that the norm for you?

Many changes in Top 5. SS still is the strongest earner.  Previous month was very bad there but now is back to normal. Second place goes to DT. It's second very strong month in row. Third place, second time in row, goes to 123RF. StockXpert is dropping to 4th place. Surprise on 5th place, CanStockPhoto after just one extended sales. It shows how week other players are.

DT is really gaining strength lately. Not quite top tier for me but closing in fast.
Second place goes to DT. It's second very strong month in row.

A really unusual month for me. I generally average about one EL a month, somewhere. But for some reason in April, I had a total of 4. 2 at BigStock (what they call "special" licenses), and 2 at DT. So my numbers are a bit skewed. For example, without the ELs at DT, it wouldn't have been a BME (close, but no cigar). OTOH, BigStock just blew itself out of the water in April. Even without the 2 special licenses, it was a BME by a HUGE margin (about a 33% increase over the previous BME). I hope this is a permanent change at BigStock.  But maybe I had a featured image there or something.

ISP 27% (smallest % in over a year)
DT  20% (BME - 1st time in #2; w/o the ELs, they'd be in their usual #3 spot)
SS  18% (lowest % EVER)
BigStock 12% (hugely BME)
StockXpert 12% (BME)
FT   8%
123  3% (typical)
SV   1%

That's the first time in almost a year I've had enough sales in one month at SV for it to earn > 0%! :-)

Without the ELs, April was pretty close to last month's performance.

DT is doing well for me 2-3 month and then 2-3 just the opposite. I have no idea why that is. Lately my approval rating is going down at DT. I am not sure if this has an effect in the searches. But DT is still one of my favorite sites.

almost 40% down from a very exceptional March.
Not contributing to any of the sites does not help either. I also remember last year's April was my worst month... .

So here is the breakdown:
FT: 63%
IS: 19%
SS: 10%
DT: 9%

IS and DT picked up for me in the last week of April - maybe there new search engines helped here. Will have to see how it works in May.

Here's mine:

SS: 40.7%
IS: 24%
DT: 18%
FT: 9%
BS: 2.7%
Alamy: 5% - with about 10% of the file numbers that I have on microstocks (ie. editorial - different images)

and here is mine:

IS    51%
SS   17%
BigStock  12%
DT   12%
StockXpert   7%
123   1%
FT     0%

Roughly a 10% drop in sales for me over last month, which was my BME.  The drop comes primarily from IS; all other sites are pretty much that same for me compared to last month. Dreamstime however gave me a BME and doubled my income there compared to last month.

 Here is my breakdown:

IS:   47%
DT:  22.5%
SS:  16.5%
StockXpert: 9.5%
BigStock: 4%

Very interesting month. All figures compared to April 2008:

DT 24%, up 116% BME
SS 21%, down 35%
IS 20%, up 34% BME
FT 9%, up 58%
FP 7%, up 338% BME
BS 6%, up 68%
CS 5%, up 584% BME
123 2%, up 15%
StockXpert 2%, down 70%
Scan 1%, up 14%

Total, up 17% from April 2008, up 6% from March 2009, BME

SS continues to sink, StockXpert even more so. BME for the third consecutive month at DT and second at IS. FP and CS both surprised with much better than average results this month. Shows that a little patience pays off, doesn't it? Very happy with the results, particularly considering the fact that Easter came in in the middle of all this.
