But at Istock you earn a meager $7, so what is this all about?

I have no idea.

I've been reading of nets of less than $5 for Getty Premium Access video.
Does that minimum only apply to drone cityscapes with full commercial releases (as they say 'creative'. But then they have the bizarre category of 'creative unreleased'). Are they going to protect these specific files from premium access? Or are they somehow disingenuously declaring that 'Getty Premium Access' isn't a Getty sale?
Who knows?

I've got some sales with less than 2$ for my completely unique drone clips, my prices were 500-700$ at Pond5 for those clips!! I quit Getty directly after couple of sales like that, really disgusting.

@OP: You must be the Chosen Sample. No word of that invitation that I can find in their forums or on the two Fb groups I'm on (one of which has a current thread complaining of low video commissions).

Do they sell at $500 to $700? If you're getting one sale a month, per clip, then happy days! If it's one a year, then not so much. Not questioning your pricing, just curious!

The majority of my files at Pond5 are priced at 70-78$, about 20% are priced between 200-700$ and I sell at least 3 clips every month of those (+ many sales of the regular clips). I've tried Getty for 3 months and it was a big loss of time where 95% of sales were from premium customers and for pennies, even other RM sales didn't made big difference

This has to be a selection not on the whole video site! I do not load anymore of my clips to Getty due to Premium Ass. I have seen way to many clips for $2 or less every month! Done with that.

Well, I was thinking of maybe trying to start and upload my clips the iStock again with the support for 4K,
but this thread probably just saved me a whole lot of time.
If these are the payouts - than i'm out.

There are lot of sales, HD clips for 0.2$ commission!

This is why I love Pond5. They are doing it right!

Getty/iStock seems like a horrible company for contributors. I closed my account there last year, but seems like it's getting even worse with those penny royalty. I wish company like Getty/iStock will go bankrupt and disappear. They have no respect for us.
