Author Topic: Am I the only one still unable to login to ESP ?  (Read 6136 times)

Just curious if I am the only one stuck on the login page...I have sent about 20 emails and all I get its the invitation link that ends up to the same error " your account is not currently set up for ESP access "

You need to write them an email and let them know your situation. Don't expect them to find the error by themselves.
I suppose you are also a videographer but who hasn't uploaded a video in the past 2 years? In that case they will need to resubmit the ESP invitation which they've sent you 2 years ago.

I did send them about 20 emails at the adress you have posted....So I guess I am the only one with this problem...
I am a videographer who did not upload in the past years. They did send me the link to activate but when i try to login its telling me the email adress is allready in use...I then use a different adress to create an account and when I try to login whit that new adress I am prompted with the same error...

Have you told them that you have a pending invite from 2 years ago? They should resend you that old link.

Finaly a customer support specialist solved my problem. I dont know how but she activated my account after several attempts.

I've gone around and around with customer support and they just keep telling me to do the same thing "Reset your password."  So I do that, and login and then it's the same problem and I contact them and get connected with a DIFFERENT support person who just tells me the same stupid thing.

I'm unaware of an ESP invite from 2 years ago.  I have both photo and videos on iStock.

After I received the first reset reply from them I ended up prettypleasing or kind of begging  ;D in this manner:

" I have followed all your instructions and reset the password from the link you sent me and after that I have tryed to login to ESP and I am getting the same error:
We're sorry.

Your account is not currently set up for ESP access.

Please contact us if you believe this is in error.

I have cleared my internet browser cache and cookies and tryed again. I am using google chrome. It prompted me with the same error. I have tryed using Microsoft Edge and Firefox and I still get the same error.
Please belive me that I have this issue since february and I have tried everything istock/getty cusstomer support told me and the result is THE SAME....Maybe a programmer could look into it and see what is wrong ? I am sure I am following all the steps exactly. Thanks for trying to help and I am looking forward for your reply "

soon after I received a reply in witch they asked me to reset the password to a password they provided for me in the email. This had to be done to allow the support technician to activate my account.

I hope this helps you and other people having the same issue

I'm absolutely disappointed with iStock and Getty.
For about 3 month I can't access to ESP site. I don't receive any mails with direct link to moving from iStock to ESP.
After my mail to support they only give me general answers that don't work. They don't have any solutions but only text like "clear you browser cache".
For this 3 month I tryed this general answers for many times, I read many forums and nothing is working.
How Getty can't solve this problem and can't make new moving link for me? I don't know.
Finaly they don't reply to my mails. I write them in contact form, and waiting for reply one week, then two, then three... no answer.
No button like "chat support", no phone numbers for contributors, no button like "claim to direction", nothing, only mail that don't give my any reply.

May be someone know special secret Getty contact form that give answers? :)

Finaly I got answer from ESP support after many letters and time.
The problem was in invitation link that they sent to my video a long time ago. I don't know anything about this.
So now they changed something, then send me new link and after all I can login to ESP.

What a perfect support! 3 or 4 times they wrote me very general answers that don't work. I have to spend my time to read, test, read again and test again all that they told me. But all that they need to do is find previous invitation and change something inside.

I got a response from them saying:
"There is currently an issue with your ESP account we are currently looking into. Once we resolve it I will let you know. I apologize for the inconvenience."


A few days later they said it's been resolved and I was able to login with their provided password.  I still can't figure out how to change my password, though.

What is this, amateur hour?  I just don't understand how they can manage to screw something up so massively.  Once I can get in and out of my account I'll be shutting it down and deleting my portfolio.  They used to be my #1 or #2 every year, but they've dropped down to the bottom of the pack.
