How long does it normally take Istock to review an application? More than a week?

When I applied they said ten days, but it was about a week. But I've heard of it going beyond two weeks since then. I guess there are just too many people applying.

it can be as fast as a few hours, for both acceptance and rejection.

What's all this about DeepMeta ??
I uploaded a few images (my first) and they're sitting there waiting to be reviewed.  I asked on IS forum if I should do anything to ease them through and was told ; as long as it says pending then no problem.  I did keyword them, I use ProStockMaster (free) at the moment.

Am I in for trouble !?  :-(

Obviously NOT !!

Some of the keywords used for this file do not appear to be fully relevant to the subject.

Under the new controlled vocabulary system that we now use, images need fewer keywords to do well in searches. The site automatically handles translations and synonyms, so you do not have to.

Please provide a set of simple, descriptive, focused keywords for this image before resubmitting.

Refused for Keywords !!

IS allows for very few conceptual keywords. You will need to think twice before including any keyword that don't directly describe what is on the photo. I would advise you to play safe and rather not include a keyword that might be questionable in any way.

Here is the link from their website:

Hope this helps.

You should definitely use DeepMeta. It has a great and fast interface to disambiguate and then optimize keywords, which will protect you from the most common mistakes.
