LOL... this has to be a new IS approval record. I just uploaded an image from a group of test shots...  and exactly 13 minutes later I got the Acceptance email. Cool  8)

Got you beat- while on 1-2-3RF while I was uploading my pics they were approving at the same time! It was so funny! I couldn't figure out why there were no pending after uploading and noticed they were in my approved folder...

Are you exclusive?

I'm still waiting 1-2 days...

That's happened to me before, with both Yay and SF. With ss, I've had under an hour a few times, but only with editorial images.

I had an editorial file approved within a day, and a main collection file in a few hours a few days ago (nothing like 13 mins though!), but older files are still waiting. A bit of leapfrogging going on.

Yes... but rest assured. iStock hates us all equally.  :P

Last year CanStockPhoto had the average wait time for approval listed a minus 5 minutes so I assumed that meant they were approving them while you were still in the upload process or perhaps just thinking about uploading  ;)

One I uploaded very early this a.m. UK time is through, but the older ones are still pending - an editorial from the 30th, and a main collection - not in any way risky release-wise - from the 3rd.

I just joined with newbielink:http://www.irockstock.com/?hello=bcsman [nonactive] and after uploaded my portfolio of 25 photos thus far, they were approved within around 3 hours.

OK, the mark has been set at 13 minutes.  It sounds like a nice you to try for.  I have been surprised lately to get them in a few hours.  Editorial excepted.  They seem to take 6-7 days, then a group of 20 come through all at once.  Same scenario three times now.
I have recently noticed another pleasant change.  Acceptance rate has been essentially 100% the past month or two (and I sent in a couple hundred, not bragging or complaining,  but whats up with that?  Not to say I have sent in junk, but recently they have taken things that were a 50/50 type previously.

That used to happen most of the time at Fotolia a couple of years ago. As I finished one off the previous one would be approved.
