I made on average 55 cents per photo sale, much more than shutterstock.  Is this common?

Hmm. As usual the colour codings for Canada, the US, Brazil, Colombia and Argentina are almost identical. As are colours for the UK, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland  and Italy. The only one that seems absolutely unambiguous is "other".... no, I tell a lie, Qatar has it's own special green. So what sold where remains a mystery.

Oh, no! I tell a lie, a "mousover" on the pie chart is more informative.

If you hover over the colour segment, you get that info in a popup.
For some reason, this month I have a lot of German sales!

...the reason would probably be to escape the 30% tax on US earnings. Russia/Ukraine won't have a tax treaty with the US, EU countries do.

Did you just make that up?! The withholding rate for Spain is 5%... the withholding rate for Russia is 0%.

well they are another house of production from ukraine or russia...even if they say spain...i don't understand why every russian or ukraine put western country...probably they pay many people to produce stuff  and uploaded in bulk.

I don't know if that is true, but if it is then the reason would probably be to escape the 30% tax on US earnings. Russia/Ukraine won't have a tax treaty with the US, EU countries do.

i don't know if they can...they need to provide a document...i thin they just put to impress customer...they fear probably an antirussian sentiment...
Or maybe they are not from Russia/Ukraine as you have zero evidence for that assertion.

Really? I'm surprised the Russians have got a more generous treaty with the US than the EU. I have seen people from former Warsaw Pact countries complaining about losing 30% and then having to pay local taxes on top. I assumed Russia was the same.
But,, yes, you're quite right, it's here http://taxsummaries.pwc.com/ID/United-States-Corporate-Withholding-taxes

Russia!  I'm not at all surprised the US have a better treaty with Russia!...the EU right now is a shamble, insecure and crumbling with apart from Brexit some 9 countries voicing their wishes to get out of the union, latest one being Sweden and Italy!....all of them trying to get Trade-deals outside the EU!....chief Analyst from citicorp predicts a catastrophical future!

Anyway what sort of treaty have they got with China and India?

According to that chart, it's not actually a treaty with the EU - the rates are applied to individual countries, with some being zero and some not.

Which is good news for those of us in the UK, because it presumably won't suddenly become subject to a 30% rate after Brexit but will remain in the 0% bracket.

My overall RPI at SS is around 67c and last month IS was about the same as yours...IS can vary but I can't be bothered to trawl their stats to work out a longer average.

When they said, they needed time to calculate the total sales of each month....(years ago), it was supposed to have the total amount in based of all the calculations (stock sales)...now we have the total amount of august...but not the calculations (stock sales)!!!

So How they reached this total amount without the individual stock sales calculations...(good question!!)

Don't make me think that they cook the stock sales numbers after the total amount they want to pay us each month?

The stats came in on Monday, if you haven't got yours, you'll need to take out a support ticket.

Your questions about how we can trust them isn't invalid, but it applies to all of the sites, who could be pulling the wool over our eyes.

Worst month since 2009.  Those 4-cent sales really just don't cut it.

I made a whopping $11 dollars in August. That's almost as much as my first month in 2010. Those years of hard work really paid off, back to square one!

These tiny payments are pay per view, which Getty calls Connect.

That's kind of weird. So they view the photo and then what?

That's why I wrote "bizarre", and I don't know where the money comes from.
