Hey y'all,

I've been using a third-party app to track my balance on iStock and today noticed that $90 dollars has suddenly disappeared. I have no email informing me that I'm being sent a a payment and there's nothing in the payouts report. Is this anything anyone else has experienced?

Thanks

Same here, some 60$ vanished, but they kind of said in the last email that the stats and balance will be erased for anything prior to 2017 and urge us to download report before the deletion happens.

Same here, the balance was $82 but now showing only $8, IS is very mysterious these days :)

Same here,

about 37.00 - could it be the balance is being transferred to Paypal.

Also I see DeepMeta is being updated for February. Is this to rule out the ability to check our money balance through that?

same here 92USD missing. First I assumed that with the unreported subscriptions I reached payout and they are preparing the payout. But it`s not the case. It is this shady, non-transparent transition they will be blaming all technical difficulties for a year or two.

According to their forum our balances will be restored only on February 20th with the new sales report. Until then our only option is to trust them, which is from my perspective getting harder and harder.

With the deactivation of many of my editorial files, the incompetent transition to the new system and the new royalty scheme I will close my account once I get the payout after february.

I sent in a service ticket, so I should be getting a response within the next six months.

You and me both. Same story. I really think IStock should be removed from the Microstock poll results for the time being. "42"  and "top tier" is an erroneous claim and feeds right into IStock's incompetent transition.

They did say that reporting might be delayed, but payments would be processed on time. Maybe the payments just went out. That could be what happened. I don't know, I don't think I wasn't due anything for Dec. because it was such a dismal month on IS.

Good Luck!

I have no idea how much money I have, how much I've sold or how much was lost.

There's no excuse for this technical mess. Utterly unprofessional and non-transparant.

You can still access your daily credit sales from your istock Profile page.  It won't tell you what images sold, but it will tell you how many and give you a daily total.  Keep in mind that this is for credit sales only.  Log into your account and click onto your Profile page.  Scroll down and locate "Downloads," just above your January sales graph. Right next to the "Downloads" type, you should see a very small square box outline.  This box is visible on Safari and Chrome, but not on Firefox.  If you click on the box, it'll download a CSV file with your latest daily statistics.  It works even better on my iPad, which instantly opens the CSV file onto a new page in Safari.  Don't know how much longer this will be available, but it's still working as of this writing.

Third party apps aren't accurate from my understanding.

Yesterday, I was very close to a payout but all of a sudden today I'm seeing a balance of only a few dollars (in iStock Stats app). I assumed there was a payout, but I didn't get an email and no money was added to my PayPal account.

I don't see a credit sale that would have put me over the payout amount. I guess I could have some subscription sales but it would be an unusually high amount for my small portfolio. So maybe they just knocked the balance back to a fraction of what it was before because...why not? Maybe this is my "alternative balance."

Can this get more surreal?

They seem to have removed all financial info about sales from the site, I can see how many files have sold but not what the commission is.
This destruction of data and hiding of our own financial information is really beyond a joke. I guess IS got into the post-reality and post-truth universe ahead of Trump.

There are a few parallels.
Remember years ago JJRD spoke of needing a "new kind of trust" when dealing with iS?

Still, in this case, iS told us well in advance that all this was going to happen, info about which has been repeated on several msg threads, yet people still act surprised.
It's not acceptable, but also not surprising.

The surprise comes next week when we find out how they just totally screwed us?  >:(

Data blackout for over a month is not encouraging, even if they warned us. Because they lied in their warnings, about dates and what was going to happen. Then sent more false information to cover that, and I'm willing to bet that when Feb. 1st or 3rd or whatever promised date arrives, we'll still be missing income and sales data.

I was at around $98 and now it's just over $1 so I assumed it meant I'd be getting a payout.  :(

More surprise, they aren't reporting until the Feb 20th?

Third party apps aren't accurate from my understanding.

It's showing the same missing balance on two third-party apps, one of which is Deep Meta, endorsed and encouraged to use for keeping track of financials by iStock.
