Here is an australian wanabee brand that is using istock photos with watermark. https://www.ozaliaboots.com/

Never seen anything like it till now. Please report if you seen your photos there. I already report it.

There was yesterday. It's the same photo as well, just without the watermark. Looks like they may have been using placeholders and forgot to update them before the site went live.

That or the OP asked them to remove the photos so the purchased the licenses.

I see another option: the OP wanted to make some advertising for this site

So he got them to use stock photos with watermarks.
How would that be good advertising to an audience of stockers?
That's just taking a conspiracy theory too far.
I can assure you that the lifestyle photos had watermarks on them last night.
Either as above they didn't replace the placeholders before launch, the OP contacted them, or maybe they were following up why there were so many people linking from here and it either reminded them to replace the placeholders or they decided the should actually buy them.

As well as iStock, one of the images had Bigstock logos all over it, but that's been cleaned up, too.

I believe you, of course.
Personally I have never seen these watermarks I arrived too late.
