Can we still deactivate photos from iStock site?
If yes, how?
If no, what can we do?

(Please don't ask me to close account, this post has no intention to do that)

According to them, no.
According to some recent-ish posts here, yes.
What to do? Try for yourself and see.

(If they have indeed activated no-deactivation, you'd need to take out a support ticket explaining why you want to deactivate the particular files, and throw yourself onto their mercy.)

Quite a few people on here indicated that deactivation wasn't working, so presumably they cottoned on and fixed it. Oh, well.  ::)

So now the only option left is to leave.  I will wait and see how bad it gets, they don't have any of my most commercial images now.  If I start seeing my average earnings per image deteriorate to a point where I can no longer tolerate it, I will get out of there.
