Before I make myself crazy clicking and clicking. I have a bunch of photos, all same categories. In fact many have the same keywords, and the CV is something where as far as I can see, for each and every image of 170 new uploads, I'm going to need to click boxes and then click categories?

Is there a way to do batch Categories or CV or do I need to do each of those little (nasty F word here) files, one by one?

Yes I have Deep Meta and use it. But still can't see any, select all or anything to make things any easier?

On SS I can select all, make the changes and hit upload. Does IS have anything like that, which is user friendly.

PS Editorial so I need to add the same release to all the files as well.

Not on iStock site, I'm afraid.

But in DeepMeta you can complete a file and use it as a source to copy and paste some or all properties to other files:

1. Select a file from the file list on the left, right click, copy

2. Then select the target file(s) from the file list on the left, right click, paste;
you can choose which properties to paste, so in case of editorial be sure to deselect country / date if it varies.

come on Pete, don't you go there, I stopped uploading 2 years ago, why can't everyone else follow that? I was making 200$/month

the world of stock is incredible fair, I lost like 3k $ or more while others kept collecting, keep selling yourself for 15% and then we still hear iStock guys blaming SS

Don't worry yourself. Editorial test upload. Nothing to do with the usual Microstock.

At least I can tag them all Editorial and paste in the categories. The whole CV part is a big waste of time after that. Funny one is the place is called "Barber" and I bet there's no word for that one except person who cuts hair.

Yes, for all the buttons, tabs and everything else, I never would have thought of something as nice and simple as Right Click, Copy and Paste. I just breezed through about 65 images and only had to do the routine disambiguation, (over and over for the same words) But it was much nicer with the rest set, especially  stupid categories, because I have to stretch the ones offered when nothing honestly fits!

The statistics section of DeepMeta is also worth the view, even if someone doesn't use it for anything else.

Nice tip. Thanks!  ;D

If I have large sets of very similar images with very similar keywords, I also found it easier/faster to do the disambiguation on one of the images, copy (and overwrite) it on all the other files and add back the two or three specific keywords to each single file rather than doing the DA on each single image.

OK works if it's set for OVERWRITE instead of merge.

Now What!

I'm trying to upload some files and I'm getting an error on the release? (I think it's the release?)

"ERROR: 4051 you are not the owner of the file."

As in I'm not the owner of the release or the file? what?
