Getting the endless spinning circle, guess getty is trying to get its servers to wake up using whale oil and that new fangled thing called electricity

Mine loaded last night.
Worst Dec since 2006, which was my first month and I had very few files.
Worst month since Aug 2007, the month I became exclusive.
Worst rpd by some margin since I started tracking rpd in Jan 2011.
Added: I see it's whirling round now, but my stats are now stored in TodayIs20.

despite a better level of downloads the rperdown is appalling due to the 15% commission......totally a waste of time has begun to load here....at least first month of eps there were big sale to compensate for lower commission...now , like in every agency, bigger sale i mean more than 100 dollar are totallydisappeared. the fact that people can find whatever they want free clearly is impacting this business in a tremendous way.

i'm done with stock.. no increase despite the uploading...better leave the portfolio there and collect the same royalty...this month looks terrible. with 15% is totally useless to load.evn dreamstime looks better despite i have stopped uploading there since the last 2 years.
time to focus only in ss as alamy and rm. i'm still on the fence to reuplaod in dreamstimedue to an increase of last month..

In "Gallery", search the picture and click it. It will display stats for that specific photo.

Also, the amount I should be payed is around 130$. But in Summary it says I'll get 97$. My tax for US is 5% so  something here is clearly wrong.

Also, when uploading stats to todayis 20, the earning for my bestseller file shows 1,63$. but when I click on image, it was sold about 30 times and amount should be much higher. Something is wrong with this stats.

more than 60 per cent for me under 20 cent....i stop uploading anything to getty stock. not even worth the time and hassle. i will collect royalty of the portfolio i had but not bother anymore...15% without big sales is not worth any  hassle.

iStock doesn't deserve any of your or my uploads. Not worth it at all. They perform worse than ever.

I stopped uploading new work completely. Too many 0.03 USD earnings. It`s a joke.

i completely agree.....i was skeptical but now no more. not worth even the bandwidth...i will focus only in rm this year and ss plus fotolia....i have even the impression that stock favors the exclusive artist in their algorithm.

at the beginning they were very few...now they are the majority...is clear that as i said free images website and stolen images are impacting micro stock industry in a strong way.
i am very curios to see the financial results of ss for the next quarter.

I stopped uploading in november 2016, and deleted the best selling, which I was not willing to sell for down to 0.02 USD in commission.

Didn't make payout again, sales down two thirds in a year, some files selling for .05, I really dont have anything good to say about them.

Statistics take a whole month to come through so we have no idea what is selling.

The real problem is, with all the low commission rates they are undercutting everybody else.

Seriously thinking about deleting my Portfolio.

This is not a business that values the people it represents.

To sum up the owners of Getty must be laughing all the way to the Bank having scammed all their creatives.

Depressing and just ruins an otherwise fun shoot with my grandfather.

Getty / Istock are just bad for the industry and they know it!

True and nicely said. That said... long gone are the days when any agency values the people it represents. The industry has changed, and not for the better.

Good month financially.  80% over December 2017  (very bad month) and 30% over November 2018 but 33% of d/ls were for $0.22 or less and 25%+ were at $0.00.  I would be in pretty good shape if I got paid something for the hundreds of shots given away.

I've read reports of 'sales' of zero, but so far haven't seen any explanation.

It wasn't me, so they wouldn't answer.
But the question has been asked. (It may have been answered privately)

And the obvious distinction is, they don't value us and they don't care and they don't care to actually represent us in any way.

Not as bad as others (that's a joke, income is terrible) one .06 sale this month.
