If I get another reply to my open case/ticket - emails from Getty that states:

All invites are now sent out; please follow the instructions in the email.

I am going to SCREAM!

OMG, Now going on 4 emails that I have sent, every one of them, that I have sent states:
I had an active contributor account in December of 2016, and never did or "cannot" find the invite email to ESP, (yes perhaps my spam systems blocked it) maybe it was deleted by accident. And I mention, please help - can you resend the invite.

Every gosh darn email is the same reply as if they did not even read my email.

Follow the instructions in the invite email, then it say's if you do not have the invite email, try resetting your Getty account password, which I have done three times and also note that in each of the emails I send to them.

How can this be happening to such a professional org such as Getty?

Forgive my frustrations but come on. I even left a voice mail message in the Contributor Voice Mail Box, which they will send you to if you call Getty Corporate.

So frustrating and so hard to believe.

If you read through past forum threads about Getty/Istock it is to be expected, this is what you sign up for, a complainers paradise..

I think I am in the same position - no sign of any sign-up email even though I have checked all possible folders including Spam. I did manage to get at user name by saying that I had forgotten it, but all I get from ESP is:

We're sorry.

Your account is not currently set up for ESP access.

I've tried the "contact us if you think this is an error" link but nothing from them so far.

Steve, did you tried to go on the https://esp.gettyimages.com/sign-in page?
You will be asked for your username (it must be the email address you use for iStock, not your user name) and the password.
Probably the password will not work.
So click on "password" under the login box (Forgot your username or password?).
You will receive an email to reset the password.

I did that and it worked for me.

Exactly,

Getty, have yet to address this error.

I assume they have no idea at this point "how to" fix it.

Same exact error I am getting, among many others I am sure.

I did exactly this process, and same error thrown, "Your account is not setup in ESP"

I find it amazing, that there is none whom can just add us to ESP, to be honest - it is a vicious circle, as just sending out template emails and responses just add's to the frustration and only builds upon the amount of support emails and mounting pressure that whom ever is trying to tame this out of control migration.

They may think that just responding will help the numbers of emails / tickets / error reports, but does nothing but adds more to the PILE of unhappy clients that put their heart and soul into the passion they have for photography and contributing to the catalog of Getty with nothing more than hoping for Sales to earn their commission.

Someone over there has to take control of this.

Perplexed.

Ugh what a mess. I was waiting patiently, trying not to get upset about that missing ESP email but I also have never received the login email...

I tried to reset my password on ESP but also never received an email although the ESP site stated that the instructions have been sent to my email.

So I wrote to support.......

Pff.

Add me to the list: no e-mail received -> reset password -> "account not set-up in ESP" -> no answer to my e-mail.
Been there since 2006.

Reply to this thread if you encounter after logging into ESP and are thrown this error:

------------------------------------------------------
We're sorry.

Your account is not currently set up for ESP access.

------------------------------------------------------

Now this would be after "resetting" your password on the Getty Site as what seems to be the current suggested fix.

Maybe just maybe there might be "someone" whom is with Getty that will put this on the fix list ;)

I got an invitation and I have an access to ESP but I can't find any of my images whatsoever :D There is only some old information about royalties from long time ago when I was still selling music on Istock. I log in every day to see if my images will magically appear somewhere, but so far no success. So, I currently don't see any of my images neither in my Istock contributor's area, nor on ESP.

So, I wanted to contact support using their contact form on ESP. Click the attachment to see what I got.

I have never received mine too and my portfolio is 18.000 and their share is 8.000 $/month with me....
i'm getting tired of them and their policy to ignore photographers
I'm starting to want to do a law suit against them , any photographer who a quite big portfolio or revenue (around a 1000$ min) is welcome to contact me to join our forces ...
i am actually in Colombia for a trip until mid march
From this date i will post a thread on this forum and start action
like contacting lawyers but also by contacts all the french magazine that i know (and from my 30 years in this job , i know a lot ) to warn them of the situation you can do the same on his side ...
it's time for a massive attack and make them know what are the French exception artist support and cultural law
don't be afraid you have nothing to loose regarding their new deal and don't believe because they are Goliath you can't be David ....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I remember reading here that we're not allowed to sue them per the ASA. Perhaps Shadysue can clarify? Thanks.

I don't live in any of the stated legislations, so my opinion about the ASA is no more valid than yours. In my legislation, unfair contracts are null and void.

I did. Stopped new uploads years ago, and also deleted most of my port.
But still I want to see what they are doing with my remaining photos and videos, and my money.
Wish I had deleted everything before this mess.

So I never got the email. But I learned thought the forums leaned that you can sign in at the web address and then use the forgot name link and they did email me a login name. When I got in I saw they had my email address incorrect. In fact I had changed it through a support ticket, because I was not getting all the stuff from Getty that others were getting. I had been using an AOL account that I used when I signed up in 2007. And I know that AOL has a spam block that blocks some emails from some sites from ever even getting into my spam box.  I have the same problem with Fine Art America. Certain emails never make it while others do. It is a known AOL thing. So any way when I finally got the email changed, I started getting notices from Getty again. But I had to change my email address in my ESP from AOL to my other email profile, even though it was changed a couple of months back and I was getting other notices. This may be helpful to others who have changed email since joining.

No, although I almost got in yesterday. After receiving an unhelpful generic reply from them I reset my password again and at first it seemed to work with my full name showing in the top right corner but as soon as I clicked anything ("continue to ESP" I think it said) I got the "not currently set up for ESP access" message. And that's all I have gotten since.

I am happy to say my account is now fully working as of a few days ago. 02/15/17

I  was quite diligent in pursuing the fix, as all of you are I am sure.

I did confirm from one of the replies, and they apologized about all the default style emails and replies.

Where I saw progress is when one of my email requests was turned into a real support ticket, from one of the reps that I recently started to get consistent replies from.

Once that took place, I was sent an email with a link, pretty much the invite email and all is well now.

So I hope this is a sign for others that resolution is coming soon. Just stay with it.

This is the email that I eventually got after filling their form 5 times.
Of course these suggestions are useless, but you can try to reply as they say.

It was sent from [email protected]

I didn't receive any answer, but some say they did so it's worth trying.

Thank you for contacting ESP login help. It looks like you have an issue with the ESP single sign on, so please carefully read the general guidance below.

If you did not receive an invitation, you may have previously registered your iStock account via Getty Images already. Please try accessing your ESP account by resetting your password in ESP using the email address connected to your iStock account.

INVITATIONS

All invitations to ESP have been sent out. Please log in with the ESP username you received in your invitation email and the password you created, NOT your iStock member name and password.

If you are already registered in ESP as an iStock videographer, you were not sent a new invitation email last week. When you log in to esp.gettyimages.com using your video login credentials, you should see the new ESP landing page and that weve updated your account by adding any other approved file types.

- -

PASSWORD RESET

If you need to request a password reset, please make sure you put your email address in both the username and email address fields. If you still do not receive the password reset email from the ESP site, please try resetting your password through Getty Images using your ESP username and email address here: https://www.gettyimages.ca/forgot-password

- -

ESP SUPPORT

If you were able to log in to your account, please see our ESP Support forum thread in the Contributor Community for any questions or issues about the new ESP site.

https://contributors.gettyimages.com/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=6639#post68123

Please note that this email is for ESP log in issues only. If you further assistance, please create a support ticket in your ESP account.

- -

FURTHER ASSISTANCE

If you are still unable to log in to your account, please respond to this email.

Please note: if you are an approved iStock videographer but have never uploaded a file via esp, you may have a pending invitation from several years ago. If you think this applies to you, please respond back and we will take a closer look and resend you that existing open invitation.

If you are still unable to log in after trying all of the above, please try the clearing your internet browser cache and cookies and then logging in. If this does not help, please respond to this email.

Sincerely,

Contributor Relations

I sent emails to [email protected] along with using the support form as others have done.

Took about 3 weeks, and sent about 5 emails over that time, with a final resolution. The rep at [email protected] was the one it seemed, that setup a ticket for me, as you cannot build a contributor ticket if you do not have access to ESP.

Hope that helps a little

22 days past and I still cannot login for ESP...

it says still" We're sorry.
Your account is not currently set up for ESP access.
Please contact us if you believe this is in error.

according to them, esp means professionalism but it started full of inexperience...

this is very annoying, why it takes so long and why they are not responding to messages, and plus, I cannot login for contributor community forum also, disguisting, very disguisting things keeps happening on istock side as usual...

I'm still in the same boat - with no access to ESP and no replies from them. I also never uploaded any video to them so didn't get a video invite back in 2014.

Now that reporting of sales has started (apparently badly) I imagine the support staff are swamped with queries from everybody and their mother so don't anticipate my 'little' problem getting sorted out anytime soon.

I don't know where to even start explaining what's happening to my account haha. I already have an account on ESP but they sent me another invitation to create an account, and they are not letting me to use my existing email address because that account already exists. However, when I log in, I only see some royalties from music, and not a trace of my images.

Yesterday I finally got a reply from a real person who solved the problem in an instant by including a new link for me to click which accepted the original invitation that I had never received.

Then today I got another message from them which confuses things slightly in having another link for me to accept the invitation (I am ignoring it). This message also includes the words "Due to an error on our part you did not receive this invitation, please accept our apologies for this delay..." It always grated with me that they didn't seem to be accepting that it was their F-up.

Hang in there, Madman, they'll get to you soon...

At least I can now keep an eye on them as I let this company fade out of my life.

Strangely I have received my invitation today but suddenly my ESP account does not say that "account is not activated for ESP".
So my account is working on ESP but I did not do anything !
Question : do I still need to follow the link given by Getty or is enough that my profile is working  :o ?!

I see in the email that "If you already created an account on gettyimages.com (the customer-facing site) with the email address linked to your iStock account, please use this account to sign in to ESP instead of creating a new profile. "

Same here.

It seems the technical guys did activate the account in the background. I think the email we all received is just a notification which sending automatically when the account activation is complete. So, your account is working now regardless of will you follow the link or will not.

Again, many thanks to all the guys suggested the newbielink:mailto:[email protected] [nonactive] way.

I also received a mail in witch they appologise for the problems and send me a link where i can set up my esp account but when i put my email adress it says that its allready in use and that i should sign in if i have the wright credentials....I folow the link and in the end its the same error that i get. I even reset the password and still the same error occurs.........its the 7th email and the situation is exactly the same as before....what GETTY ????

I had the same issue, you need to follow the link in the email to set up a new account but make sure you use a different email address for your user name.  I now have 2 ESP accounts - one for my old Flickr account and a new one for iStock.  Hope that helps

You don't need to set up new account. Once you received an invitation email, you can log in to ESP using your iStock email as username and iStock password.

That didn't work for me, I could only see information about the Flickr account.  I had to create a new account to see anything from iStock.

OK, I even tried to create a different email account just for the sake of logging in to ESP but of course with no luck ( duuuuuuuh ??? )
Still no success logging in ESP and I am sending mail after mail to contributor support and every single reply hits me with the same answer: Access the link in the email and create your esp account ( witch fails even with a fresh email account ) We're sorry.Your account is not currently set up for ESP access. Please contact us if you believe this is in error.

Anyone having the same issue ? I have tried all the methods possible like clearing the cookies, using 3 different browsers, reseting passwords, bla bla bla bla bla bla bla. AM I THAT STUPID ??? OK I admit that I am so please help a stupid contributor with a step by step guide please ? pretty please ?  ;D
