Hello!

I tried uploading three vector files for the first time approval
but got the error that my zip files are invalid files.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

What i did was place the eps file into a folder and zip it, as required...

thanks!

did you try just uploading an eps file?

or did you try clicking on your eps file and whatever other files where to be included (ctrl click to select a number of different files) and then
RIGHT CLICK
Send to > compressed zip file

Hi!
If you are sure that your file is a zip with an eps and the preview jpg is RGB and you still get the error message try uploading with other browser. I use Firefox2 and sometimes gives me the same error, so I have to switch to IE

Hi!

Thank you all for the prompt responses.

I zipped only one single eps file without the jpg preview,
not sure if i need the preview as this is the first three
required file for the approval before being allowed to
upload more. do i need to zip both the eps and jpg into
a folder?

I also got a reply from the moderator of iStockphoto
saying that it may be a problem with the browser.
Currently i am using Firefox... so maybe i should try IE?

Thanks again... And appreciate if you could enlighten me
whether i should zip just the eps or both eps and jpg.

no, you don't need to zip the jpg, but you have to upload the jpg preview at the same time that you upload your zip file.

my vectors have been rejected twice and i have yet to apply again in istock.

but when i uploaded for initial consideration, i zip each eps separately and did not add any jpg etc. they will inspected just fine. i think it is essential when u get approval for vector, then u need to zip everything together.

not sure if that helps

Thank You all for the help.

I will zip the file separately without jpg
and try using IE.

Hope this work. Will post a report.

Thanks

Managed to upload the 3 initial vector files
by zipping them and using IE instead of Mozilla.
Perhaps thats where the problem is. I use
Mozilla as my default browser.

Thank u all!
