You need to contact CR and give them a reason for wanting to deactivate.
This charge happened in autumn and we were given a few weeks' notice by email and on the forum. If you're not getting emails take out a separate CR ticket about that.
You may have to wait some time.

What's a CR and how do we create one?

What's a CR and how do we create one?

You might well ask! Still, some answers come reasonably quickly, even if not all.

Don't bother with Sue, she likes to give vague not answers and evade simple truth. If there's a CR why can't she just answer you?

That's not true. Just check back and see how many times I've given out the same correct and precise information in the past couple of weeks to many people who can't even be bothered to check out the information on msg.

You know I don't give info directly from the iS forums, as I've signed not to; but I do tell people where to find information even when they seem to be unable or unwilling to check for themselves*. Teach a man to fish sort of idea. It seems there are a lot of people here who just can't be bothered to check forums, whereupon they might discover that they're missing or ignoring emails.
Sure, it's a pain if you have to read lots of forums, but that's a choice you make when you're indie. Complaining about that would be like me complaining about not getting sales on SS.

*Maybe I just shouldn't bother if you're going to whine and make up stuff.
CR is contributor relations, and it's a CR ticket presumably which Yada is talking about.
NB: I see they've changed the name to Contributor Support, so I'll need to try to remember CS. Or was it always CS at iS and CR on Alamy?  ::)

BTW, Scout has been retired, as per yesterday's (or still today's depending where you live) email, but again, that was reported anecdotally a couple of weeks ago. But yes, the option is still there under 'contact us'. iSnafu.

"...but I do tell people where to find information..."

Sue: I, for one, appreciate all your helpful and informative posts. I think you should be moderator on istock forums.  :)
