So Getty/iStock Feb reports are out. As confusing and difficult it is now a days to make sense of their reporting, I was able to download a pdf breakdown of my sales for Feb. When I opened the pdf I quickly understood why would Getty/iStock would be having "technical difficulties" with reporting, with not providing us live (daily) stats. Today i learned that majority of the sales are a joke, .28 cents, .15 cents, and .02 cent commissions for files that once were paying $5 and more. For a corporation as big as Getty, to me, it seems all the technical difficulties, troubles with coding are a mere deception to keep the contributor passive. From my perspective the delayed earning report and lack of live stats can be compared to a slaughter house, if we were to enter it and see the gore and agony we would be more likely to protest, leave and perhaps change our ways. However by providing us delayed and monthly (processed and packaged) stats,  we don't see what normally would make our blood boil. Our content is being slaughtered, and it's not pretty!

my .02 cents :(

Completely agree. Nothing ties up and it is making it very difficult to extract an accurate average RPD. I don't think it is an accident.  Anyway, I can see enough to know they wont be getting any more of my work.

Where do I see how many photos I sold? I can only see the total amount I earned.

once you are logged in to ESP, go to My Performance (Royalties), then the tab on left called "Export", select the month (FEB) and iStock from Contract type (If you have more than one), select PDF and download.

Thank you. I found it. I am relatively new to iStock. There is written image type: photo and next to it to the right is written exclusive. I am not exclusive with iStock. Why is there written exclusive? What a mess on earth is this?

I got 0.07cents, 0.08 and 0.09 cents for quite a few images. That's just shocking.

http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/resources/premiumaccess
AFAIK, 'premium access' means buyers have been persuaded to pay a premium which we don't share in, so that they can get access to all Getty's collections in a seamless environment and (very often) purchase the files at a very low price which we do get a share of. So it's a way of paying us less and keeping more for themselves without actually lowering our percentage. If anyone knows otherwise, please explain.
Presumably, time limited means that the file can only be used for an agreed amount of time, not forever and a day as with RF. How well they police this, I have no idea.

When you say "0.07cent", do you actually mean 7 cents ($0.07)?
Not $0.0007, I hope.

Still shameful, but just to be sure what we are talking about.

:) Sorry. Just shows that it is not a good idea to work with fever. $0.07 it is. And I am still waiting for an answer to a rather urgent email. The only reply I got was: Your Contributor Services Ticket CS0155670 has been opened on 01-10-2017 05:57 PST. Tickets are prioritized by Contributor Services according to urgency. We will respond as soon as possible.

I still haven't had an answer.

Imagine... an enterprise pay getty 1000 dollars month to download images per 5 dollar per file... an then you only see the 5 dollar 15% 0,75 and nothing of the 1000 diollars...

GOOD TRICK!
