Today I am greeted with

Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://secure.istockphoto.com/sign-in?" on this server.

What does that even MEAN?  Why I am locked out?  I cannot even access "contact us" or anything.

Any advice would be appreciated, i hate to give up my $110 in there when its ready to sweep to pay me.

I'm still out, but they know about it, FWIW.

I had this email

Unfortunately the administration team at iStockphoto has decided to revoke your uploading privileges.

Comments from the iStock Administrator:

Application revoked as per Audio deprecation November 2016

Thank you for your time and effort.

I was then informed when going to my account that I had missed my deadline (I never received any deadline email)  deadline for submitting my tax details so I will now be charged US tax as a Uk resident. I was told that if I still gave them my details I may still be in with a chance, or reduced tax (to paraphrase) I then proceeded to fill in the "interview" which went ok until I got to the page where I fill in my US tax number I acquired years ago (they already have these details) they asked for another number below that which is nothing to do with me as a Uk resident. If I left it blank it would not let me proceed further. If I put N/A or anything else it told me it was the wrong info so could not proceed further. I opeted to then fill in a W8BEN form which when it appeared on the screen, had all my details bar the tax number. There was no way of entering the number so I just submitted it. I then received a later email saying because I had not given my tax number, tax royalties are to be immediately deducted with no way of getting them back. As an audio contributer I did fill in my tax details when it went over to Getty so why again ?

It's confusing and very unfair as I am at a loss what to do. I have submitted a form to Getty but as they never really respond I don't hold out much hope.

All I want to do is stop them taking tax from my already faltering earnings and give them my number but they make it so so hard.

That's just to do with the way audio files are going.
Nothing to worry about.
The wording is totally confusing, and you're not the only one to have panicked.

The sensible thing would have been to check out the iS audio forum.

I also got the audio deprecation letter. At first I thought only my audio uploading privileges were being taken away. That is ok since I never actually uploaded any audio. But then I looked up deprecation and thought they were taking all my uploading privileges due to something they think I said in November 2016. I checked the audio forum, but I am still a bit nervous about everything.

No need to be nervous. From other groups I'm in, it seems that badly-worded standard email sent to all audio suppliers. It is audio uploads at iS which are being deprecated. There has been a thread title indicating same in iS for months.
Not sure why you got one if you have never submitted audio (I didn't get one), but with iS  ::)
Hell mend 'em (though they seem to be extremely reluctant learners). Their support team is, by all accounts, stretched to the limits, so they composed a badly-worded auto-message to send out, which anyone with a brain cell who had proofread it would have realised would worry lots of people enough to take out support tickets. Even native English speakers, far less those who have English as a second or third language.
ISNAFU.

This is what happens when they allow Canadians and Brits to write these notices, using the real Kings English. It's ambiguous and equivocal. They should have written quondam audio archives on IS.

deprecation
deprecate  (dĕp′rĭ-kāt′)

1. To express disapproval of; deplore.
2. To belittle; depreciate.
3. Computers To mark (a component of a software standard) as obsolete to warn against its use in the future so that it may be phased out.

I thought I was banned from uploading for some offence.
