There's a new website showing the Istock top 1000 contributors list. Actually I'm at rank 787. But each time people add their username I take a drop LOL
So it's easy, just add your username and you will be on the list until there's 1000 people there. Then it will maybe a bit harder to be on the list :) http://www.aldomurillo.com/contributors/

Site has a lot of bugs though in both Safari & Firefox, so maybe they're still testing it?

I'm between 300 and 400, but have a very low DL/picture, i wonder if this has an influence on best match, does it pay to delete unsold pictures??
any experience about doing that? thnank you for sharing.

gosh, surely has somthing to do with Istock, doesn't work neither on Opera nor Firefox.
edited to add that it neither works propely on Explorer. what browser people use to get it working?

No, I just found out about this list and surprisingly found my name on it - and I didnt join. Awesome work!

The guy who wrote it added the first 200 or so, so if you're in there, you didn't have to add it. Or if someone else did. Needless to say, there's still going to be a lot of holes the further down you go.

Naa, I´m not one of the top dogs, somebody must have added my name - whoever it was, thank you :)
But your are right, more people are adding their names on the list, I dropped 20 positions or so (923 now) in the last hours - and sure will drop out soon.
But the heck with it, at least for a short time I was among the top 1000..... ;D

I can't get it to work either.
I can get it to sort of work on Safari, but the bottom page links do not work at all, so I have to go back to the top and use those links. It could also be more clear about how the list is being sorted. When you click on download once it sorts in descending order, and if you click again it sorts in ascending order, but there is no visual indicator of this. I was really perplexed when I found my name in the top third, until I figured out this little detail. :D

It that a new trend to assembly content from other sites, get traffic and then live from the advertisings?

OpenDNS categorizes it as having AdWare... I don't want to be on it!

When I posted this, couple of months ago I was 700"th . At the time of this post anybody was able to be on the list..... (Because there wasn't more than a thousand on the list)

I like your link, sharply_done. I'm number 1149 out of 26365. Not too bad, could be better, need to work harder!
But question...why are some people flagged as anonymous? Who flagged them that way? Can the contributor do that and why would they want to?

That's not exactly an istock official feature. Contributors can delete their names and even their sales just asking for it at the person who made this chart,

It's interesting to see people who have been there since 2002-3 (I didn't even know IS was that old!) with just 20-50 files (I saw one with 9 files).
