Title: iStockphoto stealing money?
Post by: jaaske on September 26, 2017, 18:35
Sent this email to the iStock representative in Sydney:

Hi,

Hope you're doing well.

Can you explain why I've had about $25US disappear from my account?

I had almost $100 on my account. The last I checked the amount had gone down to $74. I have not authorised any deductions from the account.

Please respond or refer me to a person dealing with payments.

Anyone else had similar happen?

Not without a refund email, but sometimes these don't go out timeously.

Keep us informed.

I used to have the same issue with fotolia. What happen was the buyer use a stolen credit card to buy my images. And all the transaction was refunded to the card owner. If this is similar case to you there is nothing that you can do. Money won't come back even after you tried to reach them so many time. Anyway I hope they give a good explanation for this.
