Topic: istockvideo - how many files to upload?

Hello peeps,

I have been trying to upload my first video files to istock however I am getting the error *Enter and upload files before proceding* So I thought that I had to upload also PAL and NTSC versions of the same clip so I converted the original HD file to PAL and NTSC and tried to upload but I got the same error.

Anybody knows what is going wrong here? And do I need to upload other versions than HD as well every time or uploading the HD is sufficient and IS converts the HD to other file formats internally?

I am using Nikon D7000. Any help will be appreciated very much!

regards
J.

I gave up on istock for video.  The upload often went wrong, sales were low and 15% commission is horrible.  Pond5 do everything better for me and pay 50% commission.

I have been hearing this from other people as well. Have you tried being exclusive there?

My plan was actually starting as exclusive and build up the portfolio as quickly as possible. After a while, let's say 6 months or a year, become independent. I guess IS will accept editorial videos as well in the future. That can make things more interesting.
