Try GOOGLE instead?

OK it was late ...

I only get a paid ad for The Clapper.

Here's the search I've used for years because it gives better results than Google. (honest!) What it does is search the other search engines and sorts those results. Kind of a best of the best.

Try it and see. The second reason is when I searched for my own name or one of the websites that I managed under a different name, I didn't even come up on the first page of Google. WHAT? But I did on Metacrawler. It told me that simple matching relevant results for things I was looking for, were missing from Google.

Yes, I'm a throwback. I never dropped it in all these years of the "next hot search" Have it on the front page of my personal website and on the links toolbar of my browsers. You are right, it was Dogpile and metacrawler go bought by Infospace, there are a few that are the same company and search. I just like that name.  It's from the days of dialup before most of us had DSL.
