I've been away, but just to check - this time there hasn't yet been any official mention of forcing paying 'lypse attendees to make their work available via the PP, has there?

As the event is a joint venture between Getty/Istock, all Milan content uploaded by the attendees, will go to the PP.It's in the site mail acknowledgement, when you ask for your name to be entered into the draw, by Echodelta.
What has not been stated is how many places are available.

Every time they announce another "famous/faboulos/lobotomious" accumulation of livestock or iStock lipse I daydream to be on the opposite site of the world...  Grin

It's only faboulos if your name comes out of the yellow bucket and you pay the ticket price, arrange your travel and hotel accomadation and pack your camera gear.

The worst thing is that I can afford it but I dont want it even in my worst madness if they pay me all for that sht I have better ways to spend my time.
My post is about "dreaming" how to fck them out from this part of the world and my neighborhood.
Everybody have right to dream.
so iStock in my dream has right to have triple fck up jump to other side of this planet...
Thats it
Simple dream...

BTW, that has not been stated.  But I've asked, so you won't have to make up imaginary answers.

Response to yellow bucket message from echodelta:

- You agree that you will make all images or video recorded by you during the Event available for license exclusively from istockphoto.com and through the Partner Program whether or not you are currently or later become a non-exclusive contributor.

I don't contribute to or agree in general with the partner program. I accepted the terms for my shots from London because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to go and it was a fantastic experience. I don't think I would attend another big lypse for the simple fact that it is a great deal of expense and commitment, and though I really enjoyed my shoots and I think I produced some nice images out of them, I felt rushed and chaotic while doing them.

to anyone considering a lypse who hasn't attended one--especially an official lypse--I would do it despite the PP clause. it is what it is and I don't think its worth missing out on...I suspect all major lypses will now require this anyways from now on. unless they lose major contributor attendees in protest. Sean has certainly made it clear he won't attend lypses with this requirement, and I applaud that conviction. but he has also attended many before and knows what he's missing out on. anyone who hasn't attended one is missing out on a valuable experience IMHO.
