i was just accepted as a contributor to IS...
im beginning to see they are quite a bit more sticky over there when it comes to Model Releases.  My standard releases that i use at the other agencies dont fly over at IS cuz they cover a blanket period of time.  Jeeez, so seriously, how annoying to have to submit a new MR for every shoot.  hardly seems worth the trouble for the few bucks i'll make on an image.  How do ya'll manage this?

Use DeepMeta, it will help you manage the model releases.
Yes, I get a new release with every shoot. Why is that such a hassle?

yeah, I've just always done it that way - a new model release for every shoot.  that covers me and the model both so I don't have a problem with it. All my models know they have to sign a release at every shoot with me.  I use the generic iStock release and it works at all the other sites I submit to as well.

It's a legal thing to protect the model. A release that covers a blanket period of time with no specifics could mean a photographer might upload images of the model that they're not okay with. Better safe than sorry, and trust me, it's not that much of an inconvenience.

At least here where I live it wouldn't even valid without a specific date! New shoot new release it's for your own protection I agree rarely with iStock but in this case they are spot on!
